File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-117D by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-117D RP-C473 of Soriano Air Cargo of the Philippines, around 1991 (Ex-USAAF 42-23894, c/n 43327, USN BuNo 12443, Aero Union N5597T and Intercoastal Air Ways N873SN), It was later sold to Mabuhay Airlines, also in the Philippines. On 30 august 1999, it was to be flown to Manila for a lease to Crown Cargo Express when it struck power lines. The aircraft crashed into a rice field. Luckily none of the 9 people on board were injured, but the aircraft was a write-off. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the metal textures by Gman5250 and the blank textures by Manfred Jahn.

Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson, with assistance from David Biggar. Master textures and paint kit by Kyle Schurb. Painted by Triadi Sudarmawan for the great TDS model. Also works with FS2004.

Prepar3D Scenery--Pittsburgh International Airport (KPIT), Pennsylvania (PA), USA. This is an update of Ray Smith's file 'KPIT_ADE_RS_FSX.ZIP', modified with his permission. Ray has given permission to adapt his file for Prepar3Dv2. This update is made with two optional files, one file with the crosswind runway activated where all four runways will be used for takeoff/landing and one file as the default runway operation. Assigned parking as per their website with extra parking including gate E1 for Sun Air Express, runway 10C/28C now at its new length, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts, extra fuel trucks, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other scenery improvements added, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (when in tower view). The gates are logically labeled, but may not reflect their real-world equivalent. My goal was to add 'life' to the airport, not recreate an exact replica of the real thing. All runways are available for FS2K2 to select the active. The file ID
is KSAV and has the following gate distribution: Heavy-0, Medium-0, Small-4, Express-4, GA-13. I have included Lee Swordy's AF Installer along with this file. It automatically installs it into FS2002. To use the installer, simply click on the file KSAVBB.txt and drag it onto the AF Installer icon.
