This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Curtiss P-40B. It represents P-40F #6 of the Free French Air Force GC II/5 "Lafayette" Squadron. This aircraft was probably 41-14268, a P-40F. It's pilot was Lt. Legrand based in Souk el-Arba, Morocco, May 1943. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

File Description:
The Curtiss SB2C replaced the Douglas SBD in Nov of 1943, not well received by most Naval Dive Bomber pilots who didn't think it was a fitting replacement for the sturdy reliable and well-liked SBD. It was called the "Son of a Bitch 2nd Class ", "The Beast" and the "Big Assed Bird". E.B.A. (ÅëëçíéêÞ ÂáóéëéêÞ Áåñïðïñßá / Royal Hellenic Air Force) received more than 37 SB2C-5 since spring of 1949 and used them until the end of the Civil War against communist rebel troops. The last Hellenic "Helldiver" was retired during 1952. Texture set only for an aircraft belonged to 336th Bomber Sqdn. (M.E.B.) of the Royal Hellenic Air Force (E.B.A.) during 1949/50.These textures require the new and beautiful FREEWARE FS9 Curtiss SB2C-4 HELLDIVER by Wolfang 'Wolfi' Faber downloadable at http://www.sim-outhouse.com. C-46 MASHUP COMMANDO for FS2004.
This package is a mashup which combines the
wonderfull C-46 by Libardo Guzman, Tom
Gibson and Greg Pepper, with the DC-3C
gauge set by Charles "Dutch" Owens. It
contains realistic failure code that will
cause both pilot induced and random system
failures and fires. This is a complete pkg
with aircraft, sound, VC and 5 panels.

I thought these hangers looked really nice;
The smaller one is reputed to be the oldest
in N America! There is a museum here now.
Pearson field is famous as the arrival point
both for the first Russian Transpolar flight
and also for Silas Christofferson's flight
from the roof of the Multnomah hotel in
nearby Portland, Oregon. Try it in a Curtiss
pusher!

File Description:
This is a repaint of the L-188 Electra in Universal Airlines colors. The freeware L-188 Electra by Libardo Guzman is needed for this repaint. In 1968 ONA purchased eight Lockheed L-188A Electra freighters from National Airlines for conversion into freighters. This particular aircraft (N182H) though, was leased in 1971. Textures are 32bit bmp. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX, FS2004, & P3D v1-3.
