| Runway Ground Roll Sound for Jets |

After years of research watching airliner videos, flying real airplanes into and out of big airports where runways are filled with sounds from the centerline lighting, bumps, and pavement gaps - I have perfected the ground roll sound.
I find this one so bold, clean and clear, that nothing else compares. I have tried them all... ones with freeware and payware aircraft. Assembled myself over one month time. Recommended for 1Gig memory computers ONLY. Anything less may cause a pause during touchdown as sound must load. On a 1Gig machine, there is no pause and the touchdown followed by rolling on landing is awesome. Takeoffs are as loud and rumbly as they should be! You'll experience rattles, centerline clump clump clump and more!

File Description:
Skywest, a regional carrier for Delta Airlines and United Airlines based in Salt Lake City, Utah recently purchased this, their first, Bombardier CRJ-900, registration N802SK, painted in the Delta Connection livery. It is to replace the Delta MD-90 used on the Salt Lake City(KSLC) - Toronto, Canada (CYYZ) route. This is the longest route for SkyWest and is one of 5 international routes. This aircraft was certified on July 28, 2006 and delivery taken soon thereafter by SkyWest Airlines.
The textures in this repaint are 32-bit. This is a complete install; most recent Opensky model and air files included. Default CRJ panel included also. Sounds are default Lear45. NOTE: This is a re-upload due to the AVSIM site compromise.

File Description:
Lufthansa CityLine is a subsidiary airline of Lufthansa and member of the Lufthansa Regional airline network. It is based in Cologne Bonn (EDDK) and operates hubs at Hamburg, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Munich. This CRJ-900LR, wearing registration D-ACKA, was the first CRJ-900 for Lufthansa and its regional subsidiaries. It was purchased from Bombardier and was delivered to Lufthansa CityLine on June 29, 2006. The textures in this repaint are 32-bit. This is a complete install; most recent Project Opensky CRJ-900 model and air files included. Default CRJ panel also included. Sounds are default Lear45. This is a re-upload of the original package required due to the file loss resulting from the AVSIM site compromise. All updates are included in this package.

After months of hard work (and some time off from the 777 GE90 project) it's finally available. Ladies and gentlemen I'd like to present to you........ my Pratt & Whitney JT9D-7R4G2 soundset! True 747 thunder can now be heard in FS2004 :) My "testbed" was a Project Opensky Boeing 747-300, but the soundset also works fine with the -100/-200 models. This soundset also features internal systems and APU sounds for a more realistic atmosphere both inside and outside of the cockpit. Please see the readme file for credits and installation instructions. I once again managed to beat the size of my previous soundset by approx. 100 KB's :P But do not be put off because of the filesize. This is just 37,1MB's of pure quality, guaranteed.

VC Amphibian model only; Pkg incl an Amphibian in Cargo and Passenger versions and features a beautiful custom era correct panel and easy-to-read virtual cockpit, photoreal exterior textures and gauges, matching interior, VC gauge backlighting, specular highlites in the VC and Html checklists. Original Mike Hambly Sounds are customized for the D18S Amphib by Scott Thomas. Bill "Lionheart" Ortis provided the original pontoon Gmax source modified by Milton Shupe, with Ortis textures modified by John Terrell. This sound.cfg replaces the one uploaded in August 2008. Both the interior and exterior sounds have been improved. Please replace the sound.cfg you already downloaded by this new one. In my search for a good sound for the Douglas DC-6/-6A/-6B/-6C, XC-112A/YC-112A, VC-118, the C-118A/R6D-1 series and the Canadair C-5, I struck on the fabulous soundpack for the beautiful Douglas A-26 Invader of Milton Shupe and the Sim-Outhouse Team, made by David C. Copley. Most of the wav-files in this soundpack are recordings of the Pratt & Whitney Double Wasp R-2800 engines of an A-26 Invader. Having studied the Invaders sound pack, I discovered that by ‘tweaking’ the sound.cfg, particularly with regard to the exterior sounds, it became possible to develop a good exterior DC-6 sound (4 engines). No changes were made to the wav-files, as I didn’t want to modify them; the
wav-files just sound wonderful. In order to make your system reproduce the DC-6 sound, first download from www.sim-outhouse.com the great Douglas A-26 Invader package and enjoy flying that plane. Then copy the sound pack of the A-26 to the DC-6, and replace the existing sound.cfg by the revised one you just downloaded. This DC-6 sound has been tested in FS2004 only. Special thanks to David C. Copley who gave his permission to upload the modified sound.cfg as freeware, with limited distribution, at Sim-Outhouse.com and Avsim.com. Many thanks also to Milton Shupe and to Wayne Tudor for his advise. Author of the original sound pack: David C. Copley. Modified sound.cfg: Maarten Brouwer.

| Arik Air Bombardier CRJ-900 'C-FHRH' Wings of Nigeria |

File Description:
Arik Air is a new startup airline in Nigeria. Part of its fleet includes this and another new CRJ-900, the first new aircraft to arrive into the country for more than 20 years, as well as 3 CRJ-200s and 2 737-300s (formerly of United Airlines.) Arik took delivery of the new CRJ-900 on June 14, 2006 and will use it to fly domestic routes throughout Nigeria and the African continent. I painted this beautiful livery from a single photograph I found on Airliners.net. For this as with all of the aircraft I paint, I paid attention to detail and realism as much as possible and generated this repaint with sharply painted details. This is a complete install; model and air files included. Default CRJ panel included also. Sounds are default Lear45.

Fellow Simmers, I present to you my latest soundset the Pratt & Whitney JT9D. This soundset is the direct outcome of hard work to achieve the results that I got, because recordings of JT9Ds are very scarce let alone being able to put it all together and make it sound right. With this soundset you can now enjoy the Project Opensky 747SPs in all their glory by having an unreal authentic audio experience that is not comparable to other JT9D soundsets. Many of the sounds in this set were recorded from a real SAA Boeing 747SP with JT9D-7FW engines and other SPs as well. Expect to find everything sounding identical to the real deal, from the start up to shutdown, you will not be dissappointed especially for the price of 11MB!
