Wright R-3350 Sounds for the Douglas DC-7 Series

File Description:
These are sounds for the Wright R-3350 Double Wasp engines as installed in the Douglas DC-7 series, which achieve a new level of realism rarely seen before. Each of the four engines has separate directional sounds, and almost all sounds are in high quality and fully stereophonic. I engineered the stereo sounds with professional editing software with minimal phasing and minimal distortion or whatever it took to make it more attractive to searchers of sound. RPM engine sounds by Gary Jones, used with permission.

Captain Piché became popular overnight after landing an Airbus 330 at Lajes airport in Terceira, Azores on August 24th 2001.During what seemed to be a routine flight from Toronto, Canada to Lisbon, Portugal, the crew experienced a massive fuel leak over the ocean,the powerless Airbus, with 291 passengers and 13 crew members on board, then glided for 20 minutes prior to an emergency landing.

File Description: Painted for the 60th anniversary of the first flight across the atlantic, this stunningly-painted aircraft flew to the International Air Tatto at Greenham Common from Goose Bay in Canada. The RAF found a crew, by the names of Alcock & Browne (the original crew were Alcock & Brown - no e) to fly the trip. You will need nmai_f-4m_raf_traffic.zip from avsim.com to use these textures.
