FSX DH 106 Comet 1 and 2 ver 2.0. The worlds first jetliner. The Comet 1 entered sevice with BOAC in 1952, initially on the route from London to Johannesburg. This package includes liveries for BOAC, Air France, UAT, Canadian Pacific and RCAF Comet 1's, and BOAC and RAF Comet 2's. Version 2 model by Jens B. Kristensen, sounds by Mike Hambly, Benoit Plamondon and Mark Cranston (Aeromusica). For FSX, FS2004 users should download Comet_V20.zip instead.

SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present what is quite possibly the most realistic sounding Pratt & Whitney JT3D-7 Turbofan sound pack available! This sound pack is designed to work with Historic Jetliners Group's Douglas DC-8-63 model. There are two versions of this sound pack, one interior point of view from the cockpit, and the other being the passenger cabin POV in front of the engines. This sound pack includes many unique and realistic features, including realistic 3D sound cones giving a very realistic exterior sound experience, especially in the fly-by view mode. Also using the cone technology, realistic distant taxi howling and distant rumbling sounds are included. The plane could be heard loud and clear from up to 2km away in tower view! Realistic start up sounds featuring external air cart compressor howling noises are included. SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present our biggest project yet, Pratt & Whitney JT8D Madness X! This huge add-on features different sounds for all P&W JT8D powered planes from the 727 to the MD-80. Options for hush-kit or non-hushkit are included. Options for different interior sound point of views are included such as cockpit or passenger cabin. 3D Sound Cone technology has been used extensively with these sounds. Versions included: Boeing 727 JT8D "Early" and "Late" versions with options for hushkitted or non-hushkitted and two interior sound options. Same thing for the DC-9 versions. 737-200 version included with three interior sound options (Cockpit, cabin front, and cabin rear). MD-80 and 727RE versions with two interior sound options and finally the Sud-Aviation Caravelle 10/11 JT8D-7B with two interior sound options. Note: JT8D "Early" refers to JT8D-1 thru to JT8D-7B. This texture represents "Rhapsody in Red" one of the B-17G Flying Fortresses of the 91st Bomb Group, 8th Air Force. The 91th BG, one of the more famous groups in the Eighth Air Force. "The Ragged Irregulars" were based at Bassingbourn, England.
"Rhapsody in Red" Crew Members:1st Lt. Frank L. Adams, Pilot (0763887); 1st Lt. Monte B. Adams, Co-Pilot (0556018); 1st Lt. Harold W. Burts, Bombardier (0772936); 1st Lt. Elmer Gettis, Navigator (0712554). T/Sgt. Clifford M. Schultz, Radio Operator (36744080); T/Sgt. Vivian R. Chowning, Jr., Engineer (33634254); S/Sgt. Gerald L. Block, Waist Gunner (13085771); S/Sgt. Seymour B. Gold, Tail Gunner (32966976); S/Sgt. Joseph F. Sovina, Waist Gunner (33607095); S/Sgt. Roy Bertrand, Ball Turret Gunner (38488949). Rhapsody in Red completed 94 missions. Mr. Schultz believes that the members of this crew may have completed 35 missions. Her last sortie was also the 91st Bomb Group's last sortie on April 25, 1945. She returned to the U.S.A. on May 26, 1945. On November 28, 1945 she was sent to Kingman, Arizona.
