FS2004/FSX EditVoicepack Callsign file for Empire Airways, CFS/EM, United States of America. This is part of our 10th round of EditVoicepack files. Our goal is to provide accurate ATC calls in order to provide Microsoft Flight Simulator traffic with quality ATC. These sounds are the best that we have been able to compile and are accurate as of release date and to the extent that our data and the limitations of the EditVoicepack allow.

File Description:
FS2004 DH 106 Comet 1 and 2 ver 2.0. The worlds first jetliner. The Comet 1 entered sevice with BOAC in 1952, initially on the route from London to Johannesburg. This package includes liveries for BOAC, Air France, UAT, Canadian Pacific and RCAF Comet 1's, and BOAC and RAF Comet 2's. Version 2 model by Jens B. Kristensen, sounds by Mike Hambly, Benoit Plamondon and Mark Cranston (Aeromusica). For FS2004, FSX users should download Comet_V20X.zip instead.

This file contains a fictitious repaint of a Canadian North C-47. These are textures only for the V3.14 version of Manfred Jahn's C-47 with Jan Visser's Vintage VC.
Base model available at Sim Outhouse.
Thanks to Manfred Jahn and his team for creating model and Jan Visser and his team for the vintage VC, Ted "TuFun" Wolfgang for the improved engine textures and sounds. Gordon "Gman5250" Madison's excellent pain kit was used as the base.

The bitmap and original gauge credit for this
panel goes soley to Ken Mitchell.
Editing of the panel for Use in FSX was
done by Jaguar Virtual Airlines (http://www.jaguarvirtual.com)
It utilises some of Ken's original gauges and some
of the default FSX ones.
This version is purely for FSX and includes the
Dreamwings Embraer ERJ-170 for FSX and associated sounds,
the aircraft is painted in Jaguar Virtual Livery

File Description:
I have discovered that one of my sound files had some atc chatter in the background heard on the exterior while spooling up. Although it's not very noticable, I'm releasing this update to get rid of the problem completely so this sound should completely disappear. This patch fixes the chatter issue and updates the actual transitional sound from the idle to the whine on the exterior. This fix requires the base soundset, enjoy the updated sounds!!!

SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present what is quite possibly the most realistic sounding Pratt & Whitney JT3D-7 Turbofan sound pack available! This sound pack is designed to work with Historic Jetliners Group's Douglas DC-8-63 model. There are two versions of this sound pack, one interior point of view from the cockpit, and the other being the passenger cabin POV in front of the engines. This sound pack includes many unique and realistic features, including realistic 3D sound cones giving a very realistic exterior sound experience, especially in the fly-by view mode. Also using the cone technology, realistic distant taxi howling and distant rumbling sounds are included. The plane could be heard loud and clear from up to 2km away in tower view! Realistic start up sounds featuring external air cart compressor howling noises are included. SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present our biggest project yet, Pratt & Whitney JT8D Madness X! This huge add-on features different sounds for all P&W JT8D powered planes from the 727 to the MD-80. Options for hush-kit or non-hushkit are included. Options for different interior sound point of views are included such as cockpit or passenger cabin. 3D Sound Cone technology has been used extensively with these sounds. Versions included: Boeing 727 JT8D "Early" and "Late" versions with options for hushkitted or non-hushkitted and two interior sound options. Same thing for the DC-9 versions. 737-200 version included with three interior sound options (Cockpit, cabin front, and cabin rear). MD-80 and 727RE versions with two interior sound options and finally the Sud-Aviation Caravelle 10/11 JT8D-7B with two interior sound options. Note: JT8D "Early" refers to JT8D-1 thru to JT8D-7B. | New Vickers VC10 panel, Part 1 |

File Description:
This is part 1 of two downloads.
This project is based on David Maltby's panel for the Vickers VC10, model available here: www.dmflightsim.co.uk/vickers_vc10.htm.
The project's aim is to enhance the cockpit experience by re-activating numerous gauges, switches and lights that previously had no function. It also introduces some new gauges and windows that are not in the original model. And, to bring the cockpit procedures as close as possible to the real checklists. To this end it contains voicechecklist files, a cockpit briefing and interactions with the cabin crew including a safety briefing.
The cockpit instrumentation has also been brought up to date with modern requirements and practices. And, as well as a number of new additional windows there is also a new night cockpit. The checklists are taken from the original BOAC flight manual and are extremely detailed as they are designed for a three man crew! So, as a single "sim" pilot you will be very busy! I have made well over 100+ additions and changes making this a comprehensive update. The original model was very similar to how one drives a car. That is get in, turn on the ignition and drive off!! You will find this update very different as it intentionally brings you much much closer to the reality of handling a high performance heavy jet especially one as complex as the elegant VC10!
