File Description:
This is a repaint (textures and model only) of Greg Pepper's and Tom Gibson's Convair 240. It requires the original aircraft, 240wal.zip, available at www.Calclassic.com. This aircraft represents VH-TAO of Trans-Australia Airlines as it appeared in service circa 1954. This is an update and correction to my previous release. It includes the correct model with the ventral airstair. It also displays a correct nose logo which was not available at the time of the earlier release. This is a complete replacement for the previous release (TAA_C240.zip).

FS2004 DFG Convair CV-240 VBF CA-18 in 1959 colors of Deutsche Flugdienst GmbH (German Flight Service Corporation), delivered to KLM Royal Dutch Airlines on August 31, 1948,
named "Albert Cuyp" and registered PH-TEC. Reregistered PH-CEC on March 2, 1954. Bought
by Deutsche Flugdienst GmbH on November 27, 1957 and registered D-BEPE. Sold to Houston Aviation Products on November 3, 1961 and registered N13648. Bought by Ozark Airlines on July 2, 1962 and registered N2400Z. Bought by Mohawk Airlines on December 23, 1964. Reregistered to Mohawk Airlines Delaware with registration N8327C on January 27, 1965. After this the Convair was operated by several companies and private owners. Last known action was taken at 2000-04-13. Ultimate fate is unknown. Textures and associated model file included only. Wright Airlines flight plans from September 13th, 1982 and are as accurate as I could get them based on trying to follow the daily flight assignments in the timetable. Wright Airlines was a Cleveland Ohio based Convair 600 / 640 outfit that had operations out of Cleveland's Burke Lakefront and Hopkins to other commuter airports in region.

This package corrects the minor texture distortion of the propeller shaft shown on the PAA Convair CV-240 VBF CB-16 in bare metal livery delivered with the add-on package cv240vbfcb16_paa_nc90663_01.zip. This problem only occurs when the propeller of the starboard side engine is not rotating. Just follow the install instructions included in this package.
