Phoenix, AZ Area Project Pack

File Description:
This TerraScene 2.1 Project pack covers all of global tile 176,153, with Phoenix in the SW corner. It extends to the east through a portion of Roosevelt Lake and to the north as far as Payson and part of the Tonto Forest. This pack includes updated Tiger Census (2000) shapefile data, adding new water areas, new highways, and other details. All scenery data files are included: USGS data, shapefiles, and a complete water mask. Requires TerraScene 2.1 and Fly!II patched to v230 or later.

Trans Island Airways FSDesignBerlins Lockheed L10A

File Description:
Trans Island Airways was a small feeder line that operated in the South Island of New Zealand. They began service after World War II. They had the last known Electra in service in NZ. This Electra was purchased in the Kansas, and had been originally in service with Standard Oil of NY. It was badly damaged during a crash landing and was taken out of service. It was reconstructed and is now on display in a museum in New Zealand in the livery of Union Airways.

After Word War II, This Douglas C47A has been modified in DC-3C for the french company "Air France", who used her to transport mail all over the country and by all weather conditions. on september 1955, the 21th, she was destroy le 21 September 1955 in landing by foggy weather, near Bordeaux-Mérignac, but the crew was safe. Retired the 8th August 1978.Not less of 48 Texan of different versions were once in the inventary of the FAU.The last flight of the type was done in 1993 with the Group 1 of the Brigada Aerea II in Durazno. Original model by Daniel and Denis Da Silva.Repainted by Daniel Nole. Included revised aerodynamics,new panel and sound.

Eighth Air Force 364th FS P-51D Mustang 'Frenesi'

File Description:
This is a repaint for the Shockwave World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang, depicting P-51D 44-13318 'Frenesi' as flown by then Lieutenant Colonel Thomas L. "Tommy" Hayes, and this repaint represents "Frenesi" as she was the day Tommy left Europe. Hayes flew with the 364th Fighter Squadron of the 357th Fighter Group, Eighth Air Force.. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on blanks by Milan Žejdlík. This repaint should work in both FS9 and FSX, as do all my repaints.

East African Airways Douglas DC-3

File Description:
DC3 VP-KJU was called Sagana II and was used by the British Queen during her visit to Uganda in 1954. It was in the original Sagana (also a DC3) that the Queen flew from Nanyuki (Kenya) to Entebbe to board the Royal Argonaut in which she hurriedly flew back to London on the death of her father King George VI. Thus East African Airways became the first airline to carry a reigning British monarch. this is a repaint using the Maam DC3 Cargo unit.

Savoia Marchetti S.73 Ceskoslovenske statni aerolinie (CSA)

File Description:
Six Savoia's S.73's flew into service Ceskoslovenske Statni Aerolinie (Czechoslovak State Airlines - today Czech Airlines CSA) in years 1937-1940. Aircrafts were powered by Czechoslovak engines Walter Pegasus II-M2 (404/452 kW). Modern and elegant Savoia's served primarily on foreign lines and first stewardes of CSA appeared on theirs boards. You must have Savoia Marchetti S.73 version 2.0 (archive name is "s73_v20.zip") by Stefano Meneghini and upgrade to version 2.1 ("s73_up21.zip"). Both files is available on Avsim. Installation instructions are included.

File Description:
This archive includes my repaint "Air Excel ltd Let L-410UVP-E20 5H-AES", AI model author Viktor Schacht. Original model find on www.avsim.com (l410ai.zip). I use painkit by Eduardo Mazuera, thanks for it. Air Excel operates both scheduled and charter services with a fleet of six aircraft. They operate four Grand Caravans (C208B), one Caravan II (F406) and a Let 410. They have daily scheduled flights to Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Ndutu, Serengeti National Park (7 different airstrips), Tarangire National Park, Zanzibar.

RAF Ridgewell airfield

File Description:
RAF Ridgewell 71/z miles northwest of Halstead in Essex Was used by the US Eighth Air Force, which installed the 381st Bombardment Group and its four B-17s squadrons. The 381st remained at Ridgewell for two years during which time it flew 296 missions and lost 131 B-17s in action.Typical of World War II airfields Ridgewell had three crossed runways, main runway of 6000yd's and two more of 4200yd's. This was a busy airfield and one of the main B17 bases in England.
