This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of PH-PBA. It was built as c/n 19434 and went to the 8th Air Force as 42-100971. She served among other during Operation Market Garden. After the war, she was obtained by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands and registered as PH-PBA in 1946. In 1947, the Rijksluchtvaartdienst (RLD, Civil Aviation Authoroties) took her on charge, and from then on she served as the first Dutch Government aircraft, used mainly to fly the Dutch Royal family, often with Prince Bernhard as pilot. In 1961 she was replaced by a Fokker F-27, but continued to be used by the RLD, in the paintscheme presented here. In 1975, she was transferred to the Aviodome museum at Schiphol airport, where she stood outside for 20 years. Prince Bernhard always lobbied for a return to airworthiness for PH-PBA, and in 1995 she reappeared on the Dutch register. She is currently flying with the Dutch Dakota Association, in a combined KLM - Air France paintscheme. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

Nemeth/Milviz Bell UH-1C in Royal Netherlands Navy (Marines) liveries.
In the 60's the Royal Netherlands Navy purchased a number of Agusta license built Bell-204 (UH-1B) helicopters for SAR, ASW and light utility tasks.
This set of repaints resembles a "What if" Dutch version of the Bell UH-1C. What if the RNLN purchased a line of Bell UH-1C´s beside the fleet´s `Bravo´s in order to support the Dutch Royal Marines on deployment in the former Dutch New Guinea territories in the early sixties. With this line of helicopters
maintained in service at other Marines/occupied locations in that timeframe they would have been seen at Zanderij (former Dutch Surinam), Hato (Curacao)
and Valkenburg NAS, besides Biak, New Guinea. Though the paint/scematics are fictional, this is what they would have looked like;
Olive drab, with Royal Netherlands Navy registration and markings, but with the distinctive Marine Corps logo at the cockpit doors.
Some liveries have nose art, pointing back to the rich history of one of the oldest marine corps units in the world (since 1665).
You need the payware Nemeth Design Bell UH-1C/H package for FSX in order to use these repaints.

The heat shimmer gauge and effect file type3 is designed to work with Owen Hewitts great gmax Bell206BIII Jetranger and the default Bell206B for FS2004 (not tested in FS2002 or FSX). The heat shimmer effect will
automatically appear as soon as the engine is started. This effect works only with sounds properly installed, using the sound engine system type 3 (f.e. default Bell206B Jetranger sounds - see Readme.txt).

Helijet International based out of Vancouver operates many helicopters one of them being the Bell 206 Jet Ranger. The inspiration this paint was modeled after came from a Long Ranger, however Helijet does operate the Jet Ranger. These textures are for Owen Hewitt's model wich can be found here on Avsim (b206b3.zip). These textures will Also work with the Dodo Sim Advanced and Realstart. An Aircraft config entry is included for the freeware version and the Dodo Sim Advanced.

File Description:
This is the Greenbrier Virtual Aviation helicopter livery for the wonderful Gmax® Bell 206B III JetRanger. It requires the original helicopter "B206B3.zip" by Owen Hewitt found here on avsim. Although not necessary for my repaint, I also suggest you download Rob Barendregt file called "rcbhhc22.zip" for VTOL control, and Detlev Arwe file called "Bell206B_Heatshimmer3.zip" for an awesome heat shimmer effect.
