Re-upload. FS2004 KNILM Douglas DC-3. Before and after World War II KLM was a major European operator of the Douglas DC-3. The first DC-3 entered service with KLM in October 1936. This made KLM the first operator of the DC-3 in Europe. 22 others would join before Nazi-Germany invaded the Netherlands on 10 May 1940 and occupied the country for five dark years. The KLM DC-3's served destinations in Europe as well as the famous 'Indies-route' from Amsterdam to Batavia (Dutch East Indies; nowadays Jakarta, Indonesia). Those DC-3's present at Amsterdam-Schiphol, if not destroyed by bombs, were impounded by the Germans. Other DC-3's that happened to be
elsewhere out of reach of the enemy found their way either to the Dutch East Indies where they served on the KNILM routes to various destinations in Far East Asia and Australia until the Japanese invasion in February 1942, or to England where they were leased by BOAC for the London (later Bristol) to Lisbon service. PH-ALP 'Pelikaan' ('Pelican') ended up in the Dutch East Indies, was bought by KNILM (Royal Netherlands Indies Airways) as PK-AFV. On her last flight on 3 March 1942 from Batavia to Broome, Australia, Japanese Zero fighters shot at PK-AFV and set her alight. The aircraft succesfully crash-landed on the beach at Carnon Bay, Australia. The repaint of PK-AFV is based on the templates Mark Beaumont created for the MAAM-SIM Douglas DC-3 (passenger version), which were based on Jan Visser's original textures. These are textures only. | Groningen Airport Eelde 2012 |

File Description:
Groningen Airport Eelde, EHGG 2012. It features, as in reality: ILS dme, more realistic (non icao std) night lights and improved placing of buildings, aprons, parking spots and so on. I used dutch AIP and my own experience on Eelde as reference. known issues, the ILS ident is GG instead of GRO, the locators GG and STK are still in the scenery. It is not perfect, but a good improvement on the default scenery. Built with the freeware Airport design editor X v1.50 Have fun!

In the 1950's and 60's Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V. (Royal Philips Electronics) the well known Dutch electronics company had a varied fleet of aircraft based at Eindhoven Airport, ready to fly staff and executives all over Europe.
This repaint represents the livery that was used in the mid 60's and shows how it was applied to the Beechcraft Queen Air 65: PH-ILS
The repaint is for FS9 but will also show in FSX.

An updated B737-7K2 in the KLM Royal Dutch Airlines livery, with many updates including better night lighting. Also works with FSX. This model was developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS). Model features high resolution textures, and all of the animations associated with TDS models. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson, with assistance from David Biggar. Master textures by Kyle Schurb.
Requires the TDS Boeing 737-700 base package tds_b737-700_base_package.zip and the fix tds_b737-700_base_package_fix.zip

It was made after a request from Mark Beaumont, Vice President Fleet at DC-3 Airways. This is a repaint for the new FSX Douglas DC-2 package by the Uiver Team X which is available here: http://www.dc2-fs.com/ The revenue from the sales of the DC-2 package will be donated to the Aviodrome, Dutch National Aviation Theme Park and Museum.

On 13 December 1966 the Dutch charter company Martinair Holland (MAC), proud owner of a fleet of four Douglas C-47, a Douglas C-54B, two Convair 640, and four Douglas DC-7C aircraft, bought a Douglas DC-6A registered PH-MAM. The DC-6A, which at one time belonged to KLM and could transport 11 tons payload or 97 passengers, was aquired in order to replace the smaller C-54B PH-MAE. It was a very popular aircraft among crew and passengers alike. From the late October 1968 till the beginning of January 1970, PH-MAM flew on the Biafra airlift from the island of Fernando Po to Uli airstrip to provide humanitarian aid, on behalf of the Dutch Red Cross. Having returned from this mission, the aircraft was overhauled and used by Martinair for one more year, before being sold to Yugoslavia. These are textures only. You will need California Classic's FS2004/FSX Douglas DC-6B CB-16 Base Pack, DC-6A CB-17 Base Pack and DC-6A CB-16 Base Pack (available at http://www.calclassic.com/dc6b.htm). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer. Works in both FS2004 and FSX.

| Aero Vodochody L-39C Albatros "Red Air Holland" |

Aero Vodochody L-39 Albatros for FSX by Lotus Simulations in a fictional private "Red Air Holland" livery. Since the end of the cold war the Aero Vodochody L-39 Albatros became very popular with private pilots to either collect or fly them in "nostalgic" cold war livery's. Some (former) military pilots purchased/leased the relatively cheap L-39 in order to sell flight-time to train (Airborne) Forward Air Controllers or to provide military flying units (all kind) some realistic flying opposing forces units during exercises. This livery represents such a private company, the fictional Dutch "Red Air Holland" L-39C for (A)FAC training and OPFOR services. The livery is a privately purchased former Royal Thai Air Force L-39C with freshly applied RAH markings and striping. The company logo is inspired by the Kalashnikov factory logo, but with Dutch colors. The L-39C has a civil registration as well as the original RTAF serial number. Though this paint is purely fictional, some L-39's are used for the above discribed servises, and their number is ever growing. You need the excellent payware Aero L-39 by Lotus Simulations in order to use this repaint. Enjoy!

| KLM Douglas DC-3 PK-ALW |

File Description:
After the occupation of the
Netherlands in May 1940 several KLM DC-3's got stuck in the
Dutch East Indies. One of them was PH-ALW 'Wielewaal'
('Oriole'). Although the DC-3 was operated as PK-ALW by
KNILM from 1 June 1940 on, she was still owned by KLM and
as such flew the shortened "Indies-route" Batavia to Lydda
(Palestine, by then under British mandate). On 7 March 1942
PK-ALW was the last civil aircraft to leave the Dutch East
Indies when the Japan invaded the island archipel. From
then on the aircraft continued its career in Australia,
first as a military aircraft and after the war as an
airliner, registered VH-INR. The DC-3 still exists (2007) as a static
museumpiece of the Queensland Air Museum in Caloundra,
Queensland. The repaint of PK-ALW is based on the templates
Mark Beaumont created for the MAAM-SIM Douglas DC-3
(passenger version), which were based on Jan Visser's
original textures. This repaint has not been tested for FSX
but will probably function there as well. Repaint by
Maarten Brouwer.
