The CANT Z.506B Airone (Heron) was a three-engined hydroplane,with wooden structure.Designed by ingegner Filippo Zappata,who also designed the CANT Z.1007 bomber.It had excellent flying characteristics and good stability and was regarded by some as "the best Italian hydroplane of World War II".It was used by the Italian Regia Aeronautica,Italian Co-Belligerent Air Force,Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana and Luftwaffe during World War II and, after 1945, by Aeronautica Militare Italiana as S.A.R. hydroplane.VC only.GMax Models and Skins by Manuele Villa, Flight dynamics by FSAviator,It also works (Tested) subject to some limitations within in FSX. Blue and white Piper PA-28-181 Archer II ZS-EOD textures.
Inspired by the real world South African registered ZS-EOD, an unlucky Cherokee 180
which has in the past crash landed and even suffered the ultimate indignity of having
been storm damaged on the very evening before being awarded as a grand prize in a
raffle drawing as part of the Reach for a Dream Foundation at the 2015 Rand Airshow.
This real world damage can be seen in Screenshot 2 on the left side of the fuselage near
the registration. For the payware Carenado Archer II for FSX. Repaint by Tom Tiedman.

Terminal Area Charts for the continental United States and Puerto Rico in ECW (ERMapper Compressed Wavelet) format for Fly! II. This download contains just the ECW images; in order to be usable in the Fly! II chart viewer, you must also download and install the associated MAP files.
These charts are simply conversions of JPG images uploaded to AVSIM by Matt Fox. Thanks to Matt for making these charts available in the first place! Conversion from JPG to ECW was done with the ECW plugin for PaintShop Pro v6 with desired compression ratio of 25:1.

File Description:
NOTE: This model is also compatible with Flight Simulator 9. The C-74 was planned during World War II as a much bigger successor to the C-54 Skymaster. An airliner version was also planned, and PanAm actually ordered it as the "DC-7." After the war it became obvious that a better design could be made, so only fourteen (14) C-74 Globemasters were built. The airliner version was canceled, and the military version was developed into the bigger C-124 Globemaster II. Nevertheless, the C-74s provided good service until retired in the mid 'fifties; a few of them continued in use as commercial freighters.
