This folder contains repaints for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of 4 aircraft of the 442nd TCG, based in airfield B24 St Andre de l'Eure in March 1945. Included are C-47A-15-DK 42-92879 J7-T of the 303th TCS, C-47A-20-DK 42-93717 V4-F "Carolina Queen" of the 304th TCS, C-47A-80-DL 43-15064 4J-O "Lady Beth" of the 305th TCS and C-53D-DO 42-68840 7H-P "Precious Cargo" of the 306th TCS. Due to the lack of adequate photo material of 442nd aircraft, I have been creative with some of these paints. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

File Description:
This is an FSX addon scenery of the Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (LFBO). It has been made using the excellent freeware tool ADE. It includes the new terminal gates, the A380 production line (using Lagardere) at the north of the airport, the new delivery center called Aire Ziegler where the brand new A380s are delivered. I modified taxiways and parking to make them look like in the reality. There are two landing pads for helicopters like in reality. I have changed the parking assignment to make sure that the usual traffic will park on the parkings E, F D AB, V and U, as it is on the reality. Finally, the close surroundings of the airport were modified to display the Airbus facilities as far as possible with generic buildings.

TOPCAT is an acronym for Take-Off and Landing Performance Calculation Tool. It's a highly realistic, easy-to-use planning tool for all serious flight simulator enthusiasts. It brings into a single application all of the calculations required to plan for safe and repeatable take-offs and landings including de-rated thrust and assumed temperature calculation. Currently the follwing airplane types are available in TOPCAT (more to come): Boeing 747-400, Boeing 747-400 Freighter, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 767-300, Boeing 767-300 ER, Boeing 767-300 Freighter and the Airbus A320-214. Textures for Tom Gibson's Douglas DC-6 - repainted by Manfred Meyer.
You need to download and install the latest Douglas DC-6 base pack with model, sound and panel from the website calclassic.com. These textures decipt N90705 (c/n 42858) of Mackey International Airlines. Mackey leased this old Bird in 1973 and bought it 1975 from F. B. Ayer & Associates. She was the 5th seires build DC-6 at all and originally delivered to American AL 1947 as "Flagship Arizona". Mackey Intl. was one of the last airlines in the lower 48 states to use the DC-6 in regular passenger service. This DC-6 flew for Mackey from Florida to numerous destinations in the Bahamas, Turks & Caicos Islands and Haiti until 1979. After then she was stored at Fort Lauderdale and later scrapped there.

This FDE Update pertains to the Project Opensky 777-200LR, 777-200LR/F, and 777-300ERs ONLY. The FDEs have been made compatable with Greg Wilson's Superb 777 Panel for FSX. Also, performance, range, and handling characteristics have been updated. The FDEs have been in the works for many months and have been extensively tested by me. I hope that you enjoy them. The FDEs should work in FS9, and the FDEs included for this series are copyrighted by Brandon D. Henry and Warren C. Daniel. They may not be merged, altered and/or used for other uploads to any other aircraft (or website) without Authors' permission.

This airport has been bought up to date and made only for FSX. The airport has now been renamed from Seeb Intl to Muscat Intl. The new midfield terminal added with the new control tower which is expected to be open later this year to complete the first phase, the new runway 8L/26R added with ILS and transitions included, the old runway decommissioned and is now taxiway F, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts, fuel trucks and support vehicle roads added, new land class for the area around the airport. I have also included Almouj Golf course which was designed by Greg Norman, fire station and many other scenery objects included. Airport views are from inside the new control tower (when in tower view). Please view the readme before installation.

These are great routes for B-52, F-111, B-1B, B-2 A6, A4, Vulcan and any fighter or bomber enthusiasts. Of course you can fly the route with any aircraft of your choice. Also included in this package are two spectacular gauges by Karol Chlebowski for TFR flying and Pave Tack which includes many advanced features for bombing, navigation and reconnaissance. These two gauges will greatly enhance your ability to fly these challenging routes and are a great companion of the flight plans. Another option
is to download Version 2.1 of my mini panel which has all this functionality and more.
