I'm really happy with my latest repaint of VAQ-132's Growler out of Oak Harbour for the payware VRS F/A-18E Super Hornet. It was an agonizing process getting it just right but I think it was worth it. This repaint was my first real attempt at implementing specular files and I used them to create a cool bronze effect to the lettering on the plane. I also took a few other liberties to jazz it up a little like adding a cool effect to the canopy glass.

File Description:
Painted for the 60th anniversary of the first flight across the atlantic, this stunningly-painted aircraft flew to the International Air Tatto at Greenham Common from Goose Bay in Canada. The RAF found a crew, by the names of Alcock & Browne (the original crew were Alcock & Brown - no e) to fly the trip. You will need nmai_f-4m_raf_traffic.zip from avsim.com to use these textures. This is a painting for the Classics Hangar Fw-190 late versions.The Fw-190F-8 black 3 flown of Uffz.Eugen Loercher in the 5./SG2. With this machine flew it with end of war to the west to the allied ones. This airplane was only on the top sides in camouflage colors everything else was left in nature metal.

McDonnell Douglas F-4K Phantom FG.1, Royal Air Force. This is one of the most iconic military aircraft of all time, ushering in the modern age of air combat; from Asia to the Middle East; and many of the 5,057 manufactured airframes are still in active use today, after over five decades of excellent service. This model set is what I originally envisioned when I undertook the modification of Nick Black's F-4E source files. Numerous changes are listed in the extensive documentation with this file. This file contains models representing early and late use of this aircraft by the RAF. This package has 16 loadout variants and 32 repaints, plus a Photoshop paint kit. I did not do this alone by any means, and all contributors that I can think of are listed in the documentation. This is the complete aircraft, with all main FS textures and effects included. Original FSDS source and paint kit by Nick Black; FDE by Mike MacIntyre, all model/paint kit modifications and repaints by Michael Pearson.
