SIDSTARS John F Kennedy Intl (KJFK)

File Description:
This is an update to the procedures included in the Cycle 0709 Collection. Based on FAA NACO Digital Aeronautical Information and Terminal Procedures Publications. Custom routes for NOATC flying are included for departures and arrivals, and these have been tweaked and tuned for the 747-400. Departure routes are included for BETTE, MERIT and ten unpublished routes based on the KENNEDY vectors-only departure procedure to often used GAYLE, GREKI, RBV and others. Of course, all procedures are included in the "as published" versions for use with ATC service. Complete information on all that's provided in a the enclosed readme and the text header of the procedures file. For PMDG only.

File Description:
This F-6K probably belonged to the 110th Tactical Recon Squadron, 71st Tactical Recon Group, 5th AAF. This aircraft crashlanded near Karachi, India (now Pakistan) Jun 21, 1945. Repaint of the Shockwave WWII Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by John Terrell.

Republic F-105D fictional 'Desert Storm'

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Alphasim F-105D Thunderchief to represent a fictional RAF Thunderchief as it might have appeared (like the Buccaneer and Victor) in its last days of service during Desert Storm. The Thud would have been a plausible addition to the RAF's inventory during the mid-1960's as a stop-gap low-level supersonic fighter-bomber until the arrival of the TSR.2, and would have been well suited, with the right electronics suite and munitions, to the operations of Desert Storm. But failure of the TSR.2 programme would leave the RAF having to soldier on for at least 2 decades with an increasingly obsolescent and ageing fleet until the Tornado programme was fully geared up. Textures for both FS9 and FSX are included.

VF-213 F-14A ("Hawk" Smith)

File Description:
VF-213 Black Lions. BLACKLION 201. This repaint honors the legendary J. Monroe "Hawk" Smith. In his various assignments and commands, "Hawk" Smith helped to evaluate, improve, and develop tactics for fighting the F-14 Tomcat. This repaint depicts "Hawk's" VF-213 Tomcat during the 1979 Med Cruise, where he served as (XO and) CO. My thanks to all the VF(A)-213 aircrew, maintainers and families. Aircraft and paintkit by IRIS. Repaint by R. Santos & Perry Hayes, with technical information provided by J. Monroe "Hawk" Smith.

Formerly used by RAF 322 Sqn (NH655, This Spitfire F 14c was bought by Belgian Air Force and registered "SG1", early 1947. Delivered to 349 Sqn (160 Wing) and identifified "GE-A" on may 22nd of the same year, it will be Transfered to 2 Sqn (2 Wing) on november 49 receiving a different Sqn identification (UR-T). This repaint is for RealAir Spitfire Mk XIV (2007).

File Description:
Former RAF 411 Sqn ("RM935"), SG17 was delivered to (BAF) 350 Sqn/160 Wing as "V" (MN-V) on Sep. 22nd '47. Left this unit on april 12th '50 for the VVS/EPA (fighter school). Struck off charge (822:50 hrs) on Dec. 2nd '52. This repaint is for RealAir Spitfire XIV (2007).

Supermarine Spitfire F 14e "SG58" (BAF)

File Description:
Following the example of the Royal Air Force, the Belgian Air Force wanted a squadron which could allow reserve-pilots to maintain their flying skills during the weekends. Created at Beauvechain on 1 December 1949, the Auxiliary Squadron initially received most of its Spitfire 14's from the locally based 349 and 350 Squadrons as they were converting from the Spit to the Gloster Meteor F.4. Although it was a reserve squadron, the operational level of the Auxiliary Squadron was of the highest standards because many of the pilots were war-time veterans with a long experience on the Spit. SG 58 was delivered to Aux Sqn/1 Wing on 19 may 51 and, like other squadron's last Spitfires, was transferred to the Fighter School at Koksijde from the fall of 1952 onwards. The Meteor F.4 then became the new mount of the Auxiliary Squadron. The Auxiliary Squadron was disbanded in 1958. (Source : Daniel Brackx)

Northrop F-89J Scorpion Wisconsin ANG

File Description:
This is a repaint of the payware Alphasim F-89J Scorpion to depict 53-2677 as flown by the Wisconsin ANG, taken from photos of the aircraft in the 1970's at Harlingen TX and similar schemes at AMARC. The aircraft is currently located at the Minnesota ANG Museum at Minneapolis-St Paul. The actual history of this aircraft is unclear. Both FS 2004 and FSX files are included.
