Textures for Chris Buff's Lockheed L-188 - repainted by Manfred Meyer.
You need to download the ELEC-CB.ZIP or L188electra.zip.
These textures depict OE-ILA (c/n 1145) originally delivered 1961 to Western Air Lines as N9746C. The Electra was converted to freighter in 1969 and sold to International Jet Air, Canada as CF-IJJ. In 1972 she came to Europe as LN-MOI for Nordic Air A/S, Norway and 1973 to Fred Olsen. Amerer Air from Linz in Austria bought the plane in September 1997 and used it for freight contract flights throughout Europe until 2006. Sold to Buffalo Airways,Yellowknife, Canada, in 2007 as C-GLBA.

| Parry Sound Harbour CPS1 in Ontario REPOST |

File Description:
This is a repost of yesterday's post of the Parry Sound Harbour as it seems one of the files didn't make it through the upload intact. Parry Sound Harbour float base is at the mouth of the Seguin River, where it flows into Parry Sound and Georgian Bay on Lake Huron, 110 miles north of Toronto. The base is run by Georgian Bay Airways Ltd who in 2006 were operating a Beaver and a Cessna 180, if I am remembering that right; the Beaver for sure. There is fuel and oil available, and food! This version has the modelled version of the float base building, after three years.

File Description:
SkySpirit Boeing 767-232 (N102DA) Delta Airlines. In the spring of 2004 Delta Air Lines painted 767-232 N102DA in a special retro scheme to commemorate their 75th anniversary. The scheme pays tribute to the scheme Delta used on their DC-3s and DC-4s, albeit with a gray painted fuselage as opposed to the natural metal fuselage. Ship 102 was originally delivered as the Spirit of Delta which was purchased from Boeing by the employees of Delta Air Lines. This scheme was seen on ship 102 until she was repainted back into the classic widget scheme prior to her retirement in 2006. Model design by Hiroshi Igami.

File Description:
Trans Caribbean Airways DC-4.
This is Jens Kristensen's model repainted by Dave McQueen, April, 2006, textures only. The original aircraft is available at www.Avsim.com. You must download and install his DC-4 model for FS2004 to use these files. Look for DC4_V10.zip.
Trans Caribbean operated from 1945 to 1971 starting out as a charter operator to San Juan, PR. It became a scheduled airline in 1957 and acquired jet airliners during the 1960s although it relied on charter and cargo operations primarily. TCA flew troop ferry flights from Travis AFB to Vietnam during the Vietnam War. TCA was purchased by American Airlines in 1971.

File Description:
The cockpit (flight-deck) of QANTAS's Boeing 707 VH-XBA (nee VH-EBA), in all its 1960's glory (plus a few more modern nav-aids, of course!) The photograph was taken by Australian Historical Aviation Society member and my good friend Robert Deahm in February 2006, at the Qantas Jet Base, after the aircraft arrived in Sydney from Britain. (Bob was invited to tour the aircraft, the lucky so-and-so!)
No installation is required - the puzzle runs directly from the file. Readme is included with simple and straight-forward instructions. There're six-hundred pieces to put together....I hope you enjoy it.

Demoversion with banners, with new PANEL and GAUGES, new external model, sound and virtual cockpit. The Airbus A380 is a double decker, four-engined airliner manufactured by Airbus S.A.S. It first flew on April 27, 2005 from Toulouse, France. Commercial flights should begin in 2006 after 15 months of testing. During much of its development, the aircraft was known as the Airbus A3XX. The A380 is now the largest passenger airliner, topping the Boeing 747, which was the largest for 35 years. Cycle 0603 PMDG SIDSTAR file by Terry Yingling revised 3/27/2006 by Dan Downs for KMDW Chicago-Midway Intl. All SID, STAR and ILS procedures edited as required to comply with current charts. Added I55 Visual Approach Rwy 13C to supplement poor default scenery in area with approach fixes; however, a right 90-deg turn to a short 2.2nm final adds a touch of difficulty. Missing DPs CISRO2 & MDW4 added with all enroute transitions. Minor updates to STARS and ILS approaches done to ensure compliance with current charts. All procedures originally distributed in Cycle 0603, including those not modified, are included in this file.

File Description:
This "High Reality Repaint" requires the previous installation of the Piaggio P-149D package for FS2004 by Mario Noriega (mn_p149d.zip + p149_fix.zip - to be found here at AVSIM).
The repaint represents one of those "Piggis" manufactured under licence of Piaggio by Focke Wulf in Bremen, Germany, and was operated in the early 70th by 3rd Squadron ("Fliegende Staffel") of GAF Weapon School 49/50 (WaSLw 49/50), the later Fighter Bomber Wing 49 (JaboG 49), all once based at Fürstenfeldbruck ('Fursty') AFB near Munich in Bavaria, Germany. | Puzzle - QANTAS 707 VH-XBA departs Canberra |

A 345-piece puzzle, created with Tibo Software's Jigs@w Puzzle 2.
Boeing 707 VH-XBA is the very first 707 received by QANTAS. In fact, it was the first export of any 707 to an international air carrier. The aircraft was restored during the period 2003 - 2006 and is now on permanent display in the QANTAS museum at Longreach, Queensland.
However, before being retired permanently, it undertook a visit to Australia's main centres and is shown here departing its last port-of-call, Canberra, on Friday 8th. June 2007, for Longreach.
No other files are needed and a ReadMe with the simple instructions is included.
