FS2004 Central Airlines Convair CV-240 VBF CA-18, Convair CV-240-0, cn 74, completed on June 10, 1948 and delivered to American Airlines on June 19, 1948, registered NC94237 and named "Flagship Akron", later renamed "Flagship Lake Ontario". Bought by Central Airlines on December 15, 1960 and reregistered N74850. Converted by General Dynamics to CV-600 on July 29, 1966 and sold to Frontier Airlines on October 01, 1967. After operated by several companies cancelled from the register in August 1995. Textures and associated model file included only. Requires cv240VBFca18_basepack_010.ZIP. Central African Airways Douglas C-47B-25-DK, C/N 32741. VP-YKN was in service from 1953 to 1966 and named Mashona. This late model (1945 built) went to the Rhodesian Air Force as R7313, then it passed to the Zimbabwean Air Force. Textures only. Prior installation of Manfred Jahn's outstanding FS2004 Douglas C-47 Base Pack is required. Repaint by Andre Reimers.

File Description:
This is a repaint of the FS-Cast Boeing B-17G in two liveries connected to the Central Intelligence Agency. Aircraft Number 531 was registered to the Civil Air Transport. Aircraft Number 815 was operated by the 34th "Black Bats" Squadron, ROC (Taiwan) Air Force, at Hsinchu Air Base, to conduct nighttime ELINT missions deep inside China. Due to the lack of period photographs, these repaints are rather speculative. Textures only. FS-Cast B-17G payware required. Repainted by Mike Huang.
I humbly dedicate these repaints to the men of the 34th Squadron. Over 100 of them sacrificed their lives during the Cold War.

File Description:
Central African Airways (CAA) was formed in 1946 and was the national carrier of the Central African Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland. It was headquartered in Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia. In 1956 CAA operated 5 Douglas C-47's mainly as second line aircraft. In 1964 CAA established Air Malawi, Air Rhodesia and Zambia Airways as subsidiary airlines and in 1967 all CAA assets were divided among the three subsidiaries and CAA ceased to be an operator on 31 August 1967. Textures only. Prior installation of Manfred Jahn's outstanding FS2004 Douglas C-47 Base Pack is required. Repaint by Andre Reimers.

This V.748D (C/N 101) was built for CAA as VP-YND and first flew on Thursday, 14 June 1956. It was the first Viscount to visit Vnukovo, Moscow, USSR on 29 June 1956 and was sent to collect the British Industry delegation who had attended the Soviet Aviation day celebrations. R M A Mweru was passed on to Air Rhodesia when CAA was disolved in 1965. It was shot down by a 'Strella' heat seeking surface to air (SAM) missile after take off from Kariba, Rhodesia 12 February 1979. File Description:
CAA purchased their first Vickers Viscount 748D on 25th April 1956. A further four were delivered in the same year. The aircraft came equipped with external slipper tanks for long-range operations. In 1957 the Viscounts took over the international service to Europe from Vickers Vikings. All the Viscounts except VP-YNE passed on to Air Rhodesia when Central African Airways was disolved in 1965. This V.748D (C/N 99) was built for CAA as VP-YNB and first flew on Saturday, 5 May 1956 at Hurn, Bournemouth, Dorset, England powered by Rolls-Royce Dart 510 engines. This is a repaint of the excellent TDS (Tenkuu Developers Studio) Boeing 737-800SF model, in Central Airlines livery, B-222P. Texture only. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverse with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson, with assistance from David Biggar. Master textures and paint kit by Kyle Schurb.
