On D-Day the "Wiskey 7" led the 2nd Wave of the Airborne invasion, (Serial 18)
Mission Boston, dropping Troopers of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd
Airborne on DZ "O" near St Mere Eglise. The 43-30652 - W7 R returned to the same
Drop Zone later that day to air-drop supplies to the troops it dropped earlier.
This is a repaint only, you need to install the beautiful freeware plane first.

File Description:
The USAAF '42-100971' (6E -B) as she looked during Operation Market Garden.
She was named 'The Squirrel'. This historical repaint is inspired by 75th
commemoration of the Allied drops into Holland, September 1944. The chalk number
'3' depicts her paradrop mission on Sept. 17th , 1944 into DZ-N south-west of
Groesbeek.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22 42-26316, UN-C of the 63rd FS, 56th FG. This aircraft was flown by Captain Joseph R. Curtis, early 1944. It was shot down on 21 sept 1944, with the pilot, Lt Oscar L Cagle Jr, being KIA. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

This repaint "converts" the original charcoal black F-15"E" into the Nellis AFB F-15"D" #83-050 painted in the "Eagle-Mod Air Superiority Grey" camo scheme. To complete the "conversion", I painted details on the jet from pics of the real F-15D I found online. In addition, I upgraded the F-15E's weapon textures, with grey missiles in both "LIVE" and "INERT" textures!
