| Douglas R4D-8 US Navy #17171 |

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-117D by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of 17171 of the US Navy, which made an emergency landing in Iceland in 1973. On the 24th of november of that year, the Douglas R4D-8 17171 on route to Höfn à Hornafirði was forced to make an emergency landing at Sólheimasandur due to bad weather conditions at Höfn and low fuel. The landing was successful and the plane suffered no major damages. At the time the US navy was discontinuing it’s use of the Douglas C-47 and instead of repairing it, the plane was stripped of all valuables and abandoned in the black volcanic sand. Since then it’s been a favourite of photographers and adventure seeking tourists. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

This freeware AI package, produced by Miljan Korac in conjunction with Military AI Works , features the Beech 1900D, C-295M, C-130H/H-30 and IL-76/78 aircraft of the Algerian Air Force based at Boufarik Air Base (DAAK). Algeria is a user of both western and eastern technologies in its Air Force the fleet makes flights all over the world but mostly in Europe. Algeria still keeps its Air Force numbers a secret so data for this package was based on best available information but is not intended to be 100% accurate. This package also includes custom made scenery for Boufarik Air Base (DAAK) including a custom made gate guard Mig-21 model also by Miljan Korac. Kigali International Airport is located east of the capital of Rwanda, Kigali. Located at 1491 meters above sea level, it's terminal is one of the highest in the world among international airports. Its 3,500-meter runway allows the landing of all types of aircraft and has allowed the continuous increase in passenger traffic up to the 800,000 passengers who passed through in 2017. It links Rwanda to Europe (Brussel, Glasgow, Amsterdam), the Middle East (Dubai, Tel Aviv, Istanbul, Doha) and Africa. It also has an important regional role. The companies that use it: RwandAir, Quatar Airways, Ethiopian.

This is a minor update to for the FS-X version of the P-180 V3.0. It contains optional bugfixes and improvements for:
- Misbehaving click spots: altitude selector now is only +-100ft, easily operable via mouse wheel.
- Missing Recognition light effect: the file was mistakenly not included in the 3.0 release.
- lowered ITTs: for better hot climate behavior; now only very (very) hot days cause problems.
- passenger removed form cabin.
- Heading indicator/gyro now automatically synchronizes periodically.
- loading time reduced: CAB gauge is now packed properly.
- Autopilot ALT Mode misbehaviour: this function now performs as intended.
- High-resolution cabin & cockpit textures.
