Boeing C-17 Volume 1

File Description:
These Liveries were originally created by Nathan Havercroft for the payware Alphasim C-17a FSX version. Each DDS file has been resized to 1024x1024, vertically flipped to be correctly oriented for FS9, and saved as an extended BMP in DXT3 format. These files are for use in Flight Simulator 2004 v9.0 or v9.1, and all credits go to Nathan Havercroft for the repaints and to Alphasim for the paintkit and original textures. Included are all the C-17 textures Nathan has created as of July 5, 2010, but does not include the March "Plain" collection that Nathan did, which has all of the "plain" C-17's based at March.. this may be converted and uploaded in the future as time permits. The payware Alphasim C-17 Globemaster III is required to use these textures.

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for P3Dv4.5 PBR version of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47A-20-DK VH-BAA of Brain & Brwon Airfreighters. C/n 13084 42-93199 flew with the RAAF as A65-49 VH-CIE before joining Qantas in 1946 as VH-EAL, EBH and EBW. It went to Brain & Brown in 1960 and flew with them until 1979. It was then taken to the Warbirds Aviation Museum in Mildura, but was moved to Alice Springs in 1995 to join the Cenbtral Australian Aviation Museum, where it is now painted in the colors of VH-EWE of Connair. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 for P3Dv4.5, with PBR, Rivet and bump detail by Ted (Tufun) Wolfgang."

Resort Airlines Douglas C-54A (N57670)

This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. Featured is the C-54A (modified to DC-4 standard) N57670 of Resort Airlines: one repaint representing the aircraft around 1956, the other at the end of its open air storage in 1961. Resort Airlines Inc (of Washington, DC, and Oakland, CA) was a US non-scheduled carrier that specialised in the operation of inclusive holiday tours to the Caribbean and also in military charter flying (Logair). The airline was operative between 1945 and 1960. Its fleet comprised of Curtiss C-46, Lockheed 1049H Super Constellation and Douglas DC-4/C-54 aircraft. Around 1961-62 five C-54s which had been stored at Oakland for some time, ranging from several months to 6 years, were rescued by Aviation Traders (of Southend and Stansted, England) from the scrapdealer's axe and converted to ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry and cargo aircraft. N57670, which was active with Resort during 1954-1956 only and had been deteriorating during the open air storage, was one of these lucky birds.

FS2004 GPS Map View Gauge v3.0

File Description:
The ultimate gauge. The Map will show: Airports details (Runways ID's, length & ILS), VOR's and NDB's frequencies, Intersections and waypoints, Airspaces, Approaches and flight routes. You can toggle the view you require for your flight. Also you can zoom in/out to see the nearest airports, vor's and ndb's. The map will indicate A/C heading flightplan title and waypoints ID's. Version 3 includes more enhancements such as the ability to input the ICAO code or name of any airport and the map will show all the frequencies of that airport including ATIS, ILS, AND COM. In addition, the map will show the active runway designations, length and width. You can also input ICAO code of any VOR/NDB and the map will show their frequencies. There was a bug in v2.0, in which if you enter ( click on ENT )the ICAO code of an airport, you will lose the flight plan loaded. Now you can go back to the flight plan and with the NEXT/PREV buttons you have the choice of where to start your FP. The gauge will show Flight Plan Title, originating and destination airports, active waypoint, waypoint index and FP crusing altitude. I addition, the gauge will show various useful information, such as, Runway IDs, lenght, width and approach magnetic heading, Airport name, city, and type. NAV1/2 names, codes, distances and ETA's, ADF1/2 names and codes. Finally, the gaugee will show other information, such as, magvar, indicated airspeed, mach, ground velocity, ambient wind velocity and direction, bank angle , and a/c altitude ( radio height ). All the information above and much more on a single gauge window.

For Ohio Rail Build 10 version only. Patch 1 for Build 10 adds engine escape tracks to the Zanesville RR Yard. Also included is some minor scenery enhancements to Zanesville and McConnelsville (see readme). Applying this patch will not effect existing activities. Easy to install. Just point the installer to your copy of MSTS. After the patch is installed, run MSTS as usual.
