File Description:
Lake Central Airlines repaint of the Convair 580 model by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson. This represents the CV-580 in 1967, shortly after conversion to turbine power. Lake Central was based in Indianapolis and disappeared in 1968 when merged with Allegheny Airlines. This is the first repaint I have shared, let me know if you enjoy it.

The 1980 built aircraft had been in service with British Airways, British Airtours, LAN Chile, Ladeco, LANexpress, LAN Airlines and Air Comet before. Textures only for the AI Aardvark model. Flightplans by Guillaume Besnard can be found on AVSIM.

Since I made these files (which I am re-uploading now as the originals are 'missing' from the library), Indian Airlines has been merged into Air India, with a change of livery. But at the time of writing many 'Indian Airlines' (as was!) aircraft, in both liveries represented here, are still flying around India on domestic routes.
