LUFTHANSA B744M (Combi) "Sachsen" (D-ABTA | 1989) now with wings and stabilizer in white paint, lovingly and entirely free-hand drawn created on PMDG B744PW QOTSIIv3 for P3Dv4/v5 simulation.
This livery in the weathered version boasts fuselage weather effects created by Brian Thibodeaux, to whom I thank for giving a concession for using his work for this project.
Also a big Thanks to pilot Samuel Aroca for researching and for his relentless attention to details.

This is an update to my FSX repaint and depicts the first -8i aircraft (D-ABYA) to be delivered to Lufthansa wearing the current livery.
This update is based on the latest photos of D-ABYA at Paine Field in September 2011 and is modeled accurately with correct window placements as per the real aircraft. The aircraft now includes lufthansa.com titles and updated specular textures.
The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paint kit and features DDS DXT5 textures and includes custom night lighting with increased illumination and custom cockpit views.
PMDG 747-400X for FSX and 747-8i/8F add-on packages are BOTH required. See readme for important installation instructions and enjoy the repaint.

These procedures include the following enhancements: All procedures are included as-published by the FAA and they are expanded to replace ATC-vectors with realistic route segments for use in a non-ATC environment (ie not using VATSIM or other service). This repaint is based on the just delivered Lufthansa aircraft, D-ABYO that carries new Fanhansa titles to celebrate the German national football team's participation in the 2014 World Cup.
D-ABYO, is the 13th aircraft of the Lufthansa fleet named Saarland and adds the latest texture improvements including more accurate engine textures as per real-world aircraft.

Lufthansa's aircraft, D-ABYP, named Nordrhein-Westfalen now carries new special commemorative 1500th 747 stickers based on it's i.d. of L/N 1500 from the Boeing production line.
