USN VFA-31 CAG Boeing F-18E Super Hornet

File Description:
This is a repaint of the F-18E Super Hornet in the special livery of Commander, Air Group's aircraft, Strike Fighter Squadron 31 (VFA-31) "Tomcatters", US Navy. This was the last unit to operate the legendary F-14 Tomcat, and had been transitioning to the F-18 at NAS Oceana since 2006. Textures only. F-18E aircraft package for FS2004 by Team FS KBT or its FSX adaptation by Eric Buchmann and Garry J. Smith required. Repainted by Mike Huang using paintkit by dswart.

So it is painted with a virtual registration "D-CFMX" never assigned to a FCS aircraft. The mission of FCS is to carry out safe and cost-effective flight inspection for the Federal Republic of Germany, Switzerland and Austria with the utmost precision and reliability.
