Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 KLM Douglas DC-4-1009 PH-DBT. Built at Santa Monica, CA (c/n 42908). Powered by four 1,450 hp Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp 2SD13G or Pratt & Whitney R-2000-11M2 engines. This was the first 'real' DC-4 delivered to KLM on 16 March 1946, following the delivery of 18 ex-USAAF C-54 Skymasters. The aircraft was registered PH-TAT, named 'Twenthe'. On 29 March 1954 PH-TAT was re-registered PH-DBT and sprayed in an attractive modern version of the 'Flying Dutchman' livery. It was sold to Air France on 3 June 1958. After having flown with Trans Europe and Vargas Aviation it was impounded in July 1975 by the government of Niger and stored. The DC-4 has probably been scrapped since. These are textures only. This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. Featured is the C-54B (modified to DC-4 standard) G-ANYB in the colours of Air Charter Ltd London and of British United Airways. In January 1955 Freddie Laker's Air Charter aquired the C-54B-DC for transport work in Germany and trooping flights from Stansted to Cyprus. In 1959 the aircraft was moved from trooping flights to service on the route Southend to Calais flying passengers on one-day trips without a passport till 1 July 1960 when Air Charter was merged into British United. From 21 September 1960 till 3 October 1960 G-ANYB was used for a rigorous flying test programme before it was converted to the first Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry aircraft. These are textures only. You will need the FS2004 Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (DC4_V30.ZIP). Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

After the Republic of the Congo (Leopoldville; since 1965 Kinshasa) gained independence in 1960 from Belgium, the Belgian national airline Sabena continued to operate routes in the country. Plans for the formation of a Congolese airline were delayed due to the Congo Crisis. However, in January 1961 a protocol was signed with Sabena for the creation of a limited liability company to be named Air Congo. On 1961 the company was formed, and incorporated on 28 June with Sabena providing technical assistance and personnel. The initial fleet of Air Congo consisted of ex-Sabena Douglas DC-3s, DC-4s and DC-6s. The first international destinations served by the carrier were Entebbe, Luanda, Nairobi and Ndola. The last "short" DC-6 was disposed of in 1970. Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

| USAF Douglas C-124C 52nd Troop Carrier Squadron |

This is a repaint of the Douglas C-124C in USAF colors. The freeware Douglas C-124C for FSX by Jens Kristensen (JBK) is needed for this repaint. The Tactical Air Command (TAC) operated C-124s from 1951 to July 1957, when they were taken over by the Military Air Transport Service. TAC used the C-124s for paratroop drops, and formation flying. The C-124s were too large and unwieldy for these type of tasks, however TAC did a neat job of it. They used their experience with the C-124s and put it to good use when they eventually received C-130s. This aircraft, serial 52-983 was from the 52nd Troop Carrier Squadron of the Tactical Air Command. It was used by the USAF until October1971, when it was mothballed at MASDC, or the 'Boneyard', at Davis–Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. Textures are 32bit DDS. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX, and P3Dv1-3.

| FSX/FS2004 USAF MATS C-133A Cargomaster 562008 |

This is a repaint of the Douglas C-133A Cargomaster in the USAF MATS scheme. The freeware Douglas C-133 Cargomaster by Tim Conrad is needed for this repaint - link provided. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & FS2004. Textures for FS2004 users are included. Textures are 32bit DDS & DXT3 BMP. In November 1958 562008 was assigned to the 1607th Air Transport Wing (Heavy), of the Military Air Transport Service (MATS), at Dover AFB, Delaware. On December 16 1958, this aircraft set a world record for propeller-driven aircraft, by lifting a cargo payload of 117,900 lbs to 10,000 ft. In January 1966, under a unit reorganization which included the 1607th ATW, 562008's new unit became the 436th Military Airlift Wing of the Military Airlift Command at Dover AFB. It made its last flight on March 17 1971. It is now on display at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base museum, Ohio.

| Douglas C-47 (P2-002) PNG Defence Force |

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47B-30-DK c/n# 32877 44-76545 of the PNGDF. It was built by Douglas and went to the RAAF in april 1945 as A65-84. It flew with 2 ATU with call sign VH-HJM and was later assigned to 34 squadron. After the war, it remained with the RAAF until 1975, when it was one of seven C-47's that were donated to the Papua New Guinea's Defence Force, where it was assigned the serial P2-002. It flew with the PNGDF until the late 1980's, when all C-47's were phased out. The aircraft was retained for display, and can currently been seen standing on pylons at Jackson Airport. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

| Douglas C-47 (118527) USAAF "Jiminy Cricket" |

This folder contains two repaints for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47 #5, S/N 41-18527. This was one of the first from the 316th Sq.
ATC, to visit Project 19 (a aircraft repair facility in East Africa, operated by Douglas), delivering worn out parts and returning rebuilt engines to the RAF. It eventually took part in the invasion of Sicily, where, the pilot, Lt. George Quisenberry received wounds from German FLAK. The shell destroyed the nose of the Aircraft, knocking out all instruments except the stand by compass. Jiminy carried the crew back with nothing but the moon and the sticking standby compass. It was later used for experimental night camouflage, and this paintscheme is included as well as JK_Cricket. Jiminy Cricket continued to serve till May 1, 1947, when it was salvaged. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.
