Douglas DC-4/C-54 Skymaster for AI Traffic. The C-54 is the military transport variant of the DC-4 airliner, and has enjoyed a 70+ year service span, with a few airframes still in service for cargo work or aerial firefighting. In conjunction with Jake Burrus, I present an 8-LOD AI traffic model to bring this iconic transport aircraft to the flightsim world. This package includes 8 models, 92 repaints, and a Photoshop paint kit. The paints in this package focus on the aircraft use from the 1970s to present day. Aircraft model and master textures by Jake Burrus and Michael Pearson, flight dynamics and repaints by Michael Pearson.

This folder contains a repaint for version 3 of the Douglas C-117D Skytrooper by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of N587MB of TMF Aircraft. Built as C-47 42-23580, it became a R4D-8 with BuNo 12420. After its military life it first became N89WA with Western International and later C-GJGN with Millardair. Since 1988 it is based in Florida, where it has been flying with TMF Aircraft since 2013.Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-117D version 3, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

This repaint package has been produced from a wealth of available imagery that is available to view freely on the internet. Each individual aircraft has been repainted and details such as windows placement, logo/title placement and variances in doors have been reproduced with extreme accuracy. All Everts Air Cargo and Everts Air Fuel individual aircraft have been covered (14). This file does require previous installation of the original DC6-B aircraft from Calclassics (www.calclassic.com) See included readme file for details. | Universal Airlines Douglas DC-8-54 |

This is a repaint of the DC-8-54 in Universal Airlines colors. The payware DC-8-50-70 by JustFlight is needed for this repaint.
Universal Airlines was a U.S. supplemental carrier that operated from 1966 to 1972. It was based at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, Michigan. It was initially known as Zantop Air Transport. In 1967 the Zantop family sold the airline and it became Universal Airlines. Universal operated military charters for the USAF, in addition to their normal charter operations. The Lockeed L-188 Electras were introduced in 1967, and Universal added DC-8s, both standard and stretched versions, to their fleet in 1969. They also leased three additional DC-8s over the next three years. On June 4, 1970, Universal purchased American Flyers Airline, another supplemental carrier. Costs, led by fuel price increases, prevented the carrier from earning sufficient revenues to sustain the new merger. On May 4, 1972 Universal declared bankruptcy and shut its doors. Its USAF contract, together with the aircraft, were taken over by Saturn Airways.
This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of PH-PBA. It was built as c/n 19434 and went to the 8th Air Force as 42-100971. She served among other during Operation Market Garden. After the war, she was obtained by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands and registered as PH-PBA in 1946. In 1947, the Rijksluchtvaartdienst (RLD, Civil Aviation Authoroties) took her on charge, and from then on she served as the first Dutch Government aircraft, used mainly to fly the Dutch Royal family, often with Prince Bernhard as pilot. In 1961 she was replaced by a Fokker F-27, but continued to be used by the RLD, in the paintscheme presented here. In 1975, she was transferred to the Aviodome museum at Schiphol airport, where she stood outside for 20 years. Prince Bernhard always lobbied for a return to airworthiness for PH-PBA, and in 1995 she reappeared on the Dutch register. She is currently flying with the Dutch Dakota Association, in a combined KLM - Air France paintscheme. This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47A-20-DK N44587 c/n 12857 of Desert Air, based in Anchorage, Alaska. It was originally 4292995 and flew with the USAAF in North Africa. After the war, it flew with West Coast Airlines, Pacific Western, Air West, Aerodyne and Salair, before coming to DesertAir in 2000. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of NC91008, a DC-3 that flew with Alaska Airlines between 1948 and its crash in Alaska in 1954. The Museum of Flight in Seattle has DC-3 N138D on display, but painted as NC91008. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-117D by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-117D RP-C473 of Soriano Air Cargo of the Philippines, around 1991 (Ex-USAAF 42-23894, c/n 43327, USN BuNo 12443, Aero Union N5597T and Intercoastal Air Ways N873SN), It was later sold to Mabuhay Airlines, also in the Philippines. On 30 august 1999, it was to be flown to Manila for a lease to Crown Cargo Express when it struck power lines. The aircraft crashed into a rice field. Luckily none of the 9 people on board were injured, but the aircraft was a write-off. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the metal textures by Gman5250 and the blank textures by Manfred Jahn.
