This is a repaint of the default DC-3 in a specially commissioned livery for the 2004 DC-3 World Rally, organised by the team at DC-3 Airways VA. Visit www.dc3airways.com for information about this exciting event, which runs from 15 October through 30 October 2004. Thereafter, you can keep this lovely lady as a souvenir of how well you flew! BKS Air Transport Douglas DC-3

File Description:
BKS AIR TRANSPORT - Repaint of the R4D MAAM in a fictional representation of G-AMVC flown by the BKS Airways company in the UK. On 17th October 1961 whilst on a positioning flight to Carlisle Airport it flew into high ground in poor visibility and all four crew were killed. Part of the wreckage still lies at the crash site today.

File Description:
Based on repaint templates by Mark Beaumont and original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set in Bluegrass Airlines livery requires the base DC-3 package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org. This is a repaint of the Cargo model. Installation instructions are included. Bluegrass Airlines is a Virtual Airline, and can be found at http://www.bluegrassairlines.com. A tribute to "aeropostale" post-war. After Word War II, This Douglas C47A has been modified in DC-3C for the french company "Air France", who used her to transport mail all over the country and by all weather conditions. on september 1955, the 21th, she was destroy le 21 September 1955 in landing by foggy weather, near Bordeaux-Mérignac, but the crew was safe. FAA Douglas DC-4A (EC-54D)

File Description:
FAA Douglas DC-4A (EC-54D) Reg. ID N87, msn 22187, ex U.S. Army Air Force Douglas C-54D-15-DO Skymaster. Flight inspection aircraft of U.S. Federal Aviation Agency (1959-1967) in colors of 1963. Used as a calibrator for international flight inspection when checking and calibration navaids and instrument procedures, including ILS, VOR, DME, TACAN, NDB, various radars and airports. This repaint is dedicated to James E. Creed (+2001), who between 1956 and 1975 was a flight inspection pilot at CAA/FAA and later chief of FAA's flight inspection offices in Japan (Tokyo/Tachikawa) and Germany (Frankfurt/ Rhine-Main-office). Although Jim type rated in many aircraft the DC-4 was his favorite. His last DC-4 flights were with aircraft registered N87 on July 18/19/20 in 1963. Textures only.
