Spitfire PR.XIX PS888 'The Last Sortie.'

File Description:
On 1 April 1954 this aircraft of 81 Sqdn conducted the last ever operational sortie by an RAF Spitfire, flying a PR mission from its base at Seletar to an area of jungle in Johore thought to contain Communist guerrilla hideouts. After the flight the aircraft's ground crew painted the inscription ‘The Last!' on the left engine cowling. PS915 of the BBMF currently wears the colour scheme and markings of PS888. A2A_AVG_P-40 Jernstedt

File Description:
Repaints only for the FSX A2A Simulations (Shockwave) P-40 Tomahawk. Repaint by Rick Spork, based on the repaint kit by Martin Catney. Hawk 81-a2 Number '88' flown by 3rd Squadron Flight Kenneth A.Jernstedt, Kunming, China 1942. He flew P-40B's and P-40E's in combat in Burma and China and participated in the first air battles over Rangoon on December 23 and 25, 1941. He would become the AVG's fifth-ranking ace with 10.5 kills.

Fairchild A-10C Thunderbolt II '40th Flight Test Squadron - Precision Enhancement'

File Description:
A-10C "Precision Engagement" upgrade for Kazunori Ito's A-10A. This package adds a second panel that closely resembles the new A-10C panel as well as a repaint for the testbed aircraft, 81-0989, flown by the 40th FLTS at Eglin AFB. The A-10C will feature dual MFDs, upgraded avionics (including GPS), datalinks, an advanced targeting pod (such as the Sniper) and precision munitions capabilities (laser and GPS weapons).
