Lasham (EGHL)

File Description:
Lasham (EGHL) Scenery for FS2002, Includes AFCAD file and static Aircraft. Created by Mathias Henig (http://www.spotter.de.vu). Lasham is an airfield which was built by the Royal Air Force to train its pilots there during WWII. After the RAF left the field Dan Air London choose Lasham as their place for the maintenance and so Lasham saw many interesting aircraft (Comet, BAC 1-11, ...). With the demise of Dan Air the maintenance facilities were sold to ATC which now does maintenance for the following types: Boeing 727-100/200 Boeing 737-200/300/400/500/600/700/800 Boeing 757-200 McDonnell Douglas DC 8-55/60 More information about ATC Lasham can be found under: http://www.atclasham.co.uk Not to forget the Lasham Glider Society which is also located at the field.

MD-82 kulula.com - ZS-OBH

File Description:
Repaint of the wonderful MD-83 by SGA in the colors of the South-African low-budget carrier kulula.com. The repaint is done from photos of the actual plane. kulula.com has two MD-82's each with different paint schemes. This one is ZS-OBH. kulula.com does not actually fly a MD-83, but the MD-82. The MD-82 is the coned version of the MD-83 and does not have the flat tail. kulula.com is a low budged South African carrier, that operates between Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth and George.

RAAF Sabre A94-901

File Description:
textures for alphasim FSX sabre. First production Sabre delivered to Number 1 Aircraft Depot at Laverton (1 AD) 19/08/54. To ARDU 20/08/54. To 1 AD 26/09/55. To CAC Fishermans Bend for major repair 28/09/55. At some stage modified to Mk.31. To 1 AD 15/01/57. To 78 Wing 19/11/58. To 2 (F)OCU 12/01/59. To 1 AD 18/08/60 for E Servicing. To 81 Wing 06/04/61. To 1 AD 24/05/62 for Mods and back to 81 Wing. Part of the Black Panthers Aerobatic Team 1961-65 (76 Sqn). To 3 AD 18/12/63 for E Servicing. To ARDU 30/06/64 for vibration tests. To 81 Wing 10/64. To 3 AD 11/11/66 to be held pending inspection. According to RAAF status card it was due to be converted to componants 20/12/66. However it survived and was displayed at the Mildura Warbirds Museum, Vic.

Dinar Líneas Áreas McDonnell Douglas DC-9-41 in delivery colours for FS2004/FS9

File Description:
The McDonnell Douglas DC-9-40 was one of the rarer DC-9 variants, with only the big-winged, short fuselage -20 built in smaller numbers. A minor stretch on the successful DC-9-30, the -40 lenghtened the fuselage 1.93m (6ft 4in) to raise maximum single-class seating capacity to 125 pax. Total DC-9-40 production hit 71 airframes. Argentina-based Dinar Líneas Áreas bought a few "pre loved" -40s in the late 1990s which were operated by the carrier alongside MD-80s right up to the airline's demise in 2003. Fuselage, engines and the tail unit are done as 32-bit textures, and everything else is a DXT3 to keep your frame rates up. This plane's also had a mip-echdomy to prevent the bluries with some video cards. Textures only, requires the SGA DC-9-40 base model.
