Al Pelletier's Round Robins - Castlegar

File Description:
Hi again Flight Simmers. This adventure takes place in the Interior of British Columbia Canada, which is a very rugged and mountainous area. In fact, one of the toughest areas of the World, for any kind of planes to fly regular routes. I flew this route with 2 different airplanes. One with the Dornier and one with the old DC3 Dakota. With the more modern airplane, you can fly in and out of the route in IFR conditions with no problems. But with an aircraft that has a maximum of 500 to 900 Feet per minute rate of climb, you have to fly in VFR condition out of Castlegar to find an area that will allow you to climb to IMC(Instrument Meteorological Conditions) from VMC (Visual Meteorological Conditions). The DC3 I flew is by Bill Rambow, Roy Chaffin and Jan Visser. This, folks, is simply the BEST airplane that I have ever seen for MS Flight Sim, since 1982! Lufthansa Boeing 737-230 'Landshut'

File Description:
TinMouse II Project Boeing 737-230ADV 'Landshut' D-ABCE Repaint of Lufthansa's Boeing 737-230 'Landshut', Reg. D-ABCE, c/n 20254/230. This aircraft was hijacked by palestine terrorists in October 1977 as LH181 on its way from Palma de Mallorca to Frankfurt/M. The pilot in command, Juergen Schumann, was shot aboard at Aden airport. After 5 days crew and passengers were freed by the GSG-9 at Mogadischu airport. After 2 months of retirement, the second officer Juergen Vietor returned back into LH service; his first flight took him aboard the 'Landshut' which continued service for Lufthansa until 1985. She is still in service as PT-MTB for TAF Linhas Areas and she is used for cargo flights... All textures in DXT3-format; this package contains textures only; you need the TinMouse II aircraft. File Description: This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I've made several changes to the airport which are listed below. All these enchancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects. I've used satellite images, terminal photos and maps throughout the whole process so building locations are as accurate as possible. Happy landings in charming Kentucky! LFMI - Istres/Le Tube

File Description:
Welcome to Istres Air Base/BA 125. Istres is an Air Base use by the French Air Force and is also a base for the helicopter squadron. It has a large repair and is a large training facility. It's common to see the Alpha jet visiting the BA 125 during their training. Alpha Jet used by the Patrouille de France.

The Air base is large enough to accomodate all type of aircrafts and even up to the B747. It has 1 major Rwy 15/33 of 12303 Ft /3750 m. I have included the 15C/33C grass rwy for use by ligth G.A aircraft and other Gliders. Put up on a nice landing and Hot dog will be waiting for you down there! ;) I have developped all aprons, included the ILS rwy 15 and developped the Tower area, increased the amount of parking due to the space available. Istres has a tremendous amount of parking spot. I have included the chart as well for VFR traffic. 2 Parallel Rwy to the active one, these are closed! do not mistake them with the grass one! ;) Have fun!

Southern Winds B.737-266Adv LV-YBS"Litoral",C/N 21193-453,ex SU-AYJ,PH-TVN,SU-BBX,5Y-BHV,N193GP and LV-PNI A old Boeing 737-200Adv with a longer career and now in service with the Argentinian Airline Southern Winds. This operator had started services to Cordoba in the year 1996 with CRJ-200ER; in 2002 were taked in service a serie of Boeing 737-200Adv and in the same year were flew the first International destinations with two B-767-200ER.(Madrid and Miami). Today Southern Winds flight domestic destinations in Argenta(Cordoba,Bariloche,Comodoro Rivadavia,el Calafate,Iguazú,Jujuy,Mendoza,Neuquen,Resistencia,Rio Gallegos,San Martin de los Andes,etc)and only two International destinations(Madrid and Miami)with his two B.767. I have included a serie of 30 Flights to the main national destinations,all served with 737 and the timetable and numbers flights are the rights one of this year 2004. Also included a new complete revised AirFile for the 737-200Adv type(09-04-04)and now you can fly the plane smooth at 35.000 ft with Mach 0.77.

Bell UH-1D SAR-71

File Description:
Texture & Panel In 1973, the Armed Forces' hospital in Hamburg also got a helicopter for EMS and SAR purposes. Ever since, this has been a Dornier Bell UH-1D aircraft. It's radio callname is ''SAR Hamburg 71'', also known more briefly as ''SAR 71''. For usual EMS purposes, Hamburg's fire brigade and EMS dispatch centre coordinates the helicopter's missions. Whenever an SAR task is to be done, the Air Force's RCC (Rescue Coordination Centre) in Muenster is responsible for ''SAR 71''. SAR missions are quite rare when compared to the number of aeromedical missions in EMS. Yet this is the most important job that ''SAR 71'' is responsible for so SAR missions will always be seen as more important task than medical emergencys."SAR 71" is mostly active in an area that is in no more than 80 kilometers of distance to the helicopter`s homebase. Any place which is located in this area can usually be reached by the aircraft within about 25 minutes of flight. Small Airstrip Objects SS FS9 scenery objects

File Description:
As far as I know, this is the most comprehensive collection to date of small airport scenery objects. More importantly, these are, for the most part, objects that have never before been made available. Most of these objects were suggested by Rob de Vries in the Netherlands, who also provided me with many useful photos on which to base the designs. My thanks to Rob. Objects include: * Runway end and side markers in a variety of materials and colors. * Ground markings of various kinds, including a compass rose, runway & airport closed indicators, and general aviation parking guides. * Animated wind T, tetrahedron, and wind sock (wind sock by Jörg Dannenberg). * Segmented circles in two styles and colors, with runway and pattern indicators. (For information on how to use segmented circles, see enclosed FAA document circles.pdf.) * Weathered asphalt and concrete surfaces. Most of the objects come in new and weathered versions. In addition, the segmented circles and wind indicators come with and without night lighting. These are standard FS9 scenery objects and can be placed using Instant Scenery or other programs that are able to use FS9 scenery libraries.

GMTT - Tangier Ibn Battuta Airport

File Description:
Tangier Ibn Battuta Airpor (French: Aéroport de Tanger-Ibn Battouta), IATA: TNG, ICAO: GMTT, is an international airport serving Tangier (Tanger in French), the capital city of the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region in Morocco. A new airport terminal building was opened in 2008 to provide for many more flights and increased passenger capability, as Tangier has grown rapidly and modernised. Aircraft parking space of 40,640 square metres (437,445 sq ft) supports up to four Boeing 737s and one Boeing 747. For small craft two dedicated sections are assigned. The air terminal is 12,000 m2 (129,167 sq ft) and designed to handle 1,250,000 passengers per year. The cargo terminal is 529 m2 (5,694 sq ft) of covered space. The 3500 meter long runway 10/28 is open and is capable of handling all sizes of aircraft up to the size of a Boeing 747 and Airbus A380-800. The airport has an ILS status (Loc – Glide – DME) and offers the following radionavigational aids: VOR – DME – NDB. PAPI lighting available for runway 10/28 for approaches from either direction.
