File Description:
These are scans from an old Air Canada DC-8 manual. There are four chapters:
Chapter 2 - Normal Operation, which includes Takeoff through Approach and Landing procedures.
Chapter 4 - Performance, which includes performance charts for DC-8-40 (RR Conway), DC-8-50 (JT3D-3), DC-8-61 (JT3D-3) and DC-8-63 (JT3D-7).
Chapter 20 - Flight Instruments, which includes detailed descriptions and schematics of the pitot static system, gyrosyn compass system, and a flight director approach diagram.
Chapter 21 - Automatic Flight Control System, which includes descriptions and a schematic of the autopilot system, as well as a description of autothrottle operation (Air Canada had some DC-8-63s with autothrottle).
These are the only chapters I have, so don't bother asking for more!

Here is my iFDG Airbus A319 repaint in Air Canada's spectacular new livery, with shadows, dirt etc, all the stuff that make a nice paint! This aircraft is for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. It may work in FS2002, but neither iFDG nor I support the use of this aircraft in FS2002. All textures are painted by me in 32-bit, with no mipmaps. You may not use any of these textures nor this aircraft for any reason unless you have my express permission to do so. you can find me on the iFDG forums as "snathwani". THIS AIRCRAFT IS ONLY TO BE UPLOADED TO AVSIM.NET AND THE WEBSITE OF AIR CANADA VIRTUAL (ACV) located at http://acv.flycav.com
