This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. Featured are the C-54A's (modified to DC-4 standard) G-AOFW and G-AREK in the colours of British United Airways in 1961.
In December 1955 Freddie Laker's Air Charter acquired the C-54A G-AOFW 'Jason' for transport work in Germany and trooping flights from Stansted to Cyprus. In 1959 the aircraft was moved from trooping flights to service on the route Southend to Calais flying passengers on one-day trips without a passport till 1 July 1960 when Air Charter was merged into British United. In April 1963 Aviation Traders (Engineering) Ltd started converting G-AOFW to ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry aircraft. The first flight as a Carvair took place from Stansted on 11 February 1964. C-54A G-AREK was purchased by British United Airways in August 1960. The aircraft was earmarked to become a Carvair. Conversion started in December 1961. The first flight as a Carvair (all-cargo version) took place from Stansted on 2 November 1962.

Textures for Tom Gibson's Douglas DC-7C - repainted by Manfred Meyer.
You need to download and install the latest Douglas DC-7C base pack with model, sound and panel from the website calclassic.com.
These textures depict N90251 (c/n 45367) originally delivered 1958 to Transports Aeriens Intercontinenteaux TAI as F-BIAQ, later to Madair Madagascar and from 1964 on with UTA for the French Air Force as 85-CB (F-ZBCB) and served for the french nuclear program in the Pacific. Later the DC-7 was equipped with large radomes on top and beneath the fuselage for tracking satellites and missiles. In December 1978 GCA bought the plane, registered it as N90251 and leased to Petroleum AT. From 1979 to 1982 the aircraft was stored and then in September 1986 bought by T & G. Aviation. For conversion to a spray plane, a 25 000 liter tank was brought into the cabin through the entry door in pieces and welded together inside. N90251 served as sprayer in Morocco and after returning to USA in 1995 Roger Brooks from Fairbanks bought the Seven and used it for transporting bulk fuel to remote settlements and mines in Alaska, using the former spray tank.

| The 2006 Maine Military AI Aircraft and Airbases |

The NorthEastern USA Military AI Aircraft and Airbase Collection Part 1: 2006 Maine Military AI Aircraft and Airbases package is the first in a series of complete Military AI packages that will cover all the currently active military aviation units in the New England states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island along with New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This first package includes represenative AI fixed and rotary wing aircraft for all the military aviation units currently operating in the state of Maine, AFCADs for Bangor International Airport (KBGR) and Naval Air Station Brunswick (KNHZ) and novel and unique demonstration flightplans utilizing all of the above. Complete AI versions or conversions of such aircraft as the USN P-3C, USNR C-130T, USN SH-60B, USN HH-1N, ME ANG KC-135E, ME ARNG UH-60A, ME ARNG/CD RAID OH-58R, OSACOM C-12D and VT ANG F-16C (refueling flight conversion) are included. My thanks to John Young for the use of a modification of his excellent KBGR scenery version 3 and to Henry Tomkiewicz, Mike Stone, Jordan Moore, Owen Hewitt and Rok Dolonec for the use of their excellent aircraft models. This is a repaint of the DC-3 in Olympic Airways colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. Greece's Olympic Airways was founded by the enigmatic shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis, in 1957. He was the only individual in the world of that day to own a national airline. In July 1956, the Greek State signed an agreement with Onassis, for the exclusive use of air transport in Greece. On April 6, 1957 Olympic Airways came onto the scene by replacing Greece's previous national airline; TAE. Olympic received their first jet in 1960, the DH Comet. Olympic Airways' Olympic rings logo was the definition of the golden years of civil aviation, classy and very eye-catching. Due to tragedy striking Onassis in 1973 with the death of his only son, who was a pilot himself and was going to be the new head of Olympic Airways. Onnasis heartbroken, sold Olympic to the Greek state a few months later. He passed away himself in 1975. Olympic operated over a dozen DC-3s. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.
