| FSX/P3D TAI DC-3 1962 |

This is a repaint of the DC-3 in TAI (Transports Aeriens Intercontinentaux) colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. In 1946 the French government allowed the creation of some independent air carriers. On June 1 of that year TAI (Transports Aeriens Internationaux) was formed, and was based in Orly, France. Flights began on July 1, with a Junkers Ju-52. The following year they purchased 7 ex KLM DC-4s, along with 3 Bristol 170 freighters. In 1954 DC-6Bs started to replace the DC-4s. Their route network serviced mainly Africa, the Far East, the French Pacific territories, and Australasia. Prior to 1956 their network wa mainly in Africa, and Asia. On May 6, 1960, a partnership was formed with Air France, whereby TAI flew the South Pacific leg of the state carrier’s around the world service via New Caledonia and Tahiti. Later, on September 4 1960, TAI began a Douglas DC-8-32 service from Paris to Darwin via Athens, Teheran, Karachi, Bangkok, Phnom Penh, and Saigon, and on September 12, it inaugurated a route from Sydney to Los Angeles via Noumea, Nandi, Papeete, and Honolulu with the DC-8. On September 14 1961, TAI agreed, in principle, to a future merger with Union Aeromaritime de Transport (UAT). The two airlines integrated their schedules in 1962 and the amalgamation of TAI and UAT was completed on October 1, 1963, resulting in a new airline: UTA (Union de Transports Aeriens). This DC-3, F-BGXN, flew for TAI from 1956 to 1959. Textures are DXT5. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

X-Plane 6.40
The PBY Catalina is probably the best known flying boat with over 4000 produced by Consolidated aircraft and licensees. The Black Cat squadrons all done in flat black played havoc particularly for the Japanese in the Pacific in WWII. Fitted with radar, with a 15 hour endurance and 2800 mile range they hunted Japanese naval ships and bombed or torpedoed them by the hundreds. This a fairly accurate rendition of the PBY except that the retractable pontoons are missing. Why? Well basically after using all the tricks I know I ran out of parts. There are 6 engine nacelles used in the model, 2 represent the 1200 HP radial engines driving the props, the others are jets with 5 lbs of thrust, 1 is used for the rear fuselage section, 1 is used for the wing pylon, 1 is used for the flare from the fuselage to the vertical stabilizer and the last is used for the forward observation and gunner space. Two are not used. Wing sections are taken up by the main wing and the support spars so there you go. The fuel tanks are used for the side gunner pods since these can be decorated separately. The plane flies very well and is stable. Takeoffs from water are quite easy as long as you don't dip a wing tip (no floats remember). This aircraft model and the paint scheme is copyright by Robert App, January 2003. Feel free to alter the paint scheme and instrument panel as long as you give me credit for the original design. USS Conyngham DDG-17 was the third ship in a line of succession to carry the name Conyngham. She was a guided missile destroyer built by the New York Shipbuilding Corporation. Camden, New Jersey. Her keel was laid 1 May 1961 and was launched on 19 May 1962. She was commissioned 13 July 1963 as the sixteenth ship in the Charles F. Adams class. This ship model is fully functional, and can be piloted around with a joy stick on the oceans in FS2004.

42-84408,year 1960.In service with the FAU the Oct 29, 1954.
Retired the 8th August 1978.Not less of 48 Texan of different
versions were once in the inventary of the FAU.The last flight of the
type was done in 1993 with the Group 1 of the Brigada Aerea II in Durazno.
Original model by Daniel and Denis Da Silva.Repainted by Daniel Nole.
Included revised aerodynamics,new panel and sound.

Repaint of Airbus a321 D-AIRX from Lufthansa, the most beautiful A321 in the world. All textures in DTX3 format. Correct window layout. Textures only. You need the payware Wilco/Feelthere Airbus Series Vol.1. Great birds! Other Lufthansa paints will follow, because all of the official paints are wrong (grey belly, window layouts, no white wings, etc.).
Have nice flights and always happy landings.
P.S. i have FSX, but not installed yet. I don't know if the textures work in FSX - but i believe yes.

LTU repaints for mid 90's retro AI traffic. AI Aardvark B752RR, B763PW, FSP MD11 and DWAI L1011 (new v3.1 model included.) Master textures by AI Ardvark (B763PW & B752RR), FSP and Tony Fosler (MD11), Henry Tomkiewicz (L1011). Flightplans available at www.retroai.org soon.
Plese note, the DWAI L1011 is used for both the 1 and 500 versions, there is no good 500 model available yet. If you have installed this model before, please use the v3.1 model included, otherwise the textures will not display correctly.

File Description:
Excel spreadsheet determines fuel based on weight, trip length, average winds and flight level. Based on PMDG AOM Cruise & Fuel Planning tables. The spreadsheet uses empirical formulae based on linear regression to provide an approximate (usually 3%) value based on the tables. User should have familiarity with the PMDG manual for best results. For PMDG 744 Pax version only. This is an update to Version 1, which corrects an error in the summation of weights to derive takeoff weight; all other calculations remain the same.
