Fiat G91 R/1 U.S. ARMY evaluation

File Description:
In the beginning of 1960, two G91 R/1 from A.M.I. and two R/3 from Luftwaffe, beside a T/1, were sent to Fort Rucker in Alabama (U.S. ARMY) and Kirtland New Mexico (USAF), to be tested as a possible close support aircraft to the Army. In the mean wile, for several reasons no orders resulted from this tests and the aircrafts were returned, except one that suffered an accident in which died the test pilot from FIAT (R.Bignamini) that had flown the first flight in the first prototype. This repaint represents the aircraft sent to Fort Rucker in 1960(G91 R/1). Requires original aircraft by Kazunori Ito "g91r1_gn.zip"

DHL Cargo *PART 1* DHL-Air UK

File Description:
Flightplan for the DHL-Air UK. DHL move his HUB at march 30th from Brussels to Leipzig. Leipzig are now the biggest HUB in Europe for a cargo based airline. Brussels still remains as a small local HUB like Stockholm, Bergamo, Nottingham/East Midlands and so on... With the first part of the DHL-flightplans comes the UK-division with 22 Boeing 757-200 converted sepcial freighters, diverted into old and new colors. Also included in this part 1 all needed paints for this plan. Old color, new color and both colors with white nose. All Paints were made with the new Paintkit from AIAardvark. To install the liverys please read the "install instructions" file inside this package. Many thanks to Josef Petric. He gives his blood in the last fiew weeks to create this plan, because it was very diffcult to get informations about the DHL-flights. Stay tuned. Douglas VC-54C-1-DO 'Sacred Cow'

File Description:
Built a C-54A-5-DO Skymaster at Santa Monica, CA, for the USAAF (c/n 7470) and delivered on 26 January 1944. Converted to VC-54C-1-DO for personal use by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Irreverent journalists promptly named it 'Sacred Cow'. The VC-54C contained an electric elevator to lift the polio-struck Roosevelt and his wheelchair on board. The elevator was raised from the ground into the aircraft's belly for which purpose a hatch in the bottom of the fuselage could be opened. President Roosevelt made only a few flights with the 'Sacred Cow', the most famous journey being to and from the Yalta Conference with Stalin and Churchill in the Soviet Union. Following the death of Roosevelt, his successor Harry S. Truman continued using the 'Sacred Cow' till July 1947. Nowadays the aircraft is on display at the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, be it with a different serial number. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (dc4_v21.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.
