This file is a package of textures for you to use in your files. There are 12 in all. Use them in any way you want to. They probaly won't look too good on a plane but do whatever you want to. They say FS2004 but can be used for any sim. I hope you put these files to good use!

Super VC10 Panel Upgrade Part 1

File Description:
This panel upgrade for David Maltby's Super VC10 incorporates significant major changes. First the Super VC10 has now become a stand alone aircraft within the "DMFS Shared Files" file structure. This allows for many changes that distinguish the Super VC10 from the Standard. Some already present and some ongoing. The main panel is now in widescreen format i.e. "not stretched!" Many hundreds of other changes have also been made some unseen that make significant differences to the performance of the model. For example the Super has a fin tank now modelled along with correct fuel transfer and jettison procedures. The engines have been totally overhauled with new thrust curves so that their performance is as accurate as possible across the power spectrum. A consequence of this is that throttle control is now much more precise. Internal engine sounds have been completely revised and are as close as possible to the sound one would hear from the cockpit. There are in addition numerous new panels that are fully functional such the Oxygen panel. This means that cabin altitude and depressurisation are all potential factors and must be attended to. Though you do have an oxygen mask (so don it if necessary or face the consequences!). There is a tiller for ground manoeuvring. There are just too many changes and additions to list here but they are listed in the documentation. Another important addition is refuelling. Refuelling can only be done from an underwing point. To assist is a dedicated new fuel uplift spreadsheet which incorporates a facsimile of a real Super VC10 load sheet allowing you to change passenger loads etc. Everything is explained in the "Technical and Operational Procedures Manual" pdf file as well as the "VC10 FLYING MANUAL" pdf file which contains all the full checklists not cut down for sim use. With ongoing work the intention is that this will become a "study" simulation. Old Iligan (Balo-i) Fix #1

File Description:
OLD ILIGAN (BALO-I) FOR FS2004/FS2002 FIX #1 - patch for the detailed depiction of Iligan Airport, located at Balo-i, Lanao del Norte, Mindanao, Philippines, as it was ca. 1989. (requires RPMI1989.ZIP). Fixes flickering trees, & bumpy ramp, and added misc. enhancements. All buildings/structures done using GMAX. Ground polys and some tree APIs made using Airport 2.60. Airport layouts for airports in Somalia required for AI Traffic. Created with ADE and SBuilder. Airports as follows: HCMM, HCMB, HCMF, HCMH, HCMI, HCMK, HCMR, HCMW, Adado(HCM1) and Guriel(HCM6). Airports have been moved to approximate the positions and layout shown in Google Earth. These may not be compatible with existing scenery or afcads of some of these airports.

Papua New Guinea Airports Part 1

File Description:
PNG has more airfields and heliports than the 71 or so depicted in FSX, many of these do not have rwy links making AI flying useless; hence my fervent desire to make the AIs and the airfields come alive. The 22 airfield-enhancements in Part 1 includes airport layout re-designs, parking additions, new apron inclusions and/or updates, and enhancement of airport objects such as terminal buildings, airport vehicles (static and moving fuel trks, etc), cargo/luggage, cars/pickup trucks, firehouse, fence at small fields where known, etc, etc, etc. The biggest improvement is inserting rwy links to all airfields that Microsoft left out. Lookout for Part 2.

CYUL 2002 V1.0 Scenery Upgrade 1

File Description:
This upgrade aligns the ILSs in FS2004 with CYUL2002 V1.0 runways, adds real life airline assignement to gates and the ILS/DME for runway 06R is now tuned to it's real life frequency of 110.50 MHz (instead of 110.60 MHz that we had to use for FS2002). Updated approach charts for runway 06R in JPEG format (.JPG) are included.
