FS 2004 American Airlines BAC 1-11 400 Series.
American Airlines flew these aircraft for a
while in the mid 1960's and called them the
Astro Jet 400. Model features operating front
passenger door with stairs and rear airstairs.
Fully reflective 32 bit textures with a high
degree of detail.

| Bahamas Airways BAC 1-11 432FD Texture Fix |

File Description:
When developing the Bahamas Airways repaint for the DM Flight Sim BAC One-Eleven 400, I stuffed two things up: first, the black section of the radome was too short. Secondly, a screw-up on the alpha channel for the port side of the aircraft makes a near-'chrome' artifact appear in certain indirect light conditions. By replacing the two offending textures with the ones in this .zip file, the problems will vanish (and hopefully no new ones will appear in their place). Requires the file "bahamas_airways_111-400.zip" here at AvSim.

Ryanair BAC 1-11 509EW EI-CCW C/N 186. This "snow" repaint is based on the aircraft as it was in April 1991 prior to repaint in full Ryanair colours. | VASP 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
VASP was the 2nd largest airline in Brazil, but was scaling down by 1998. VASP still had a great international network stretching to ATH/KIX/ICN/LAX/YYZ/JFK/BCN/ZRH ect. A fleet of 10 MD-11s did all the long haul flying, as well as plenty of domestic flights. 3 A300s and a large 737-200/300 fleet served the domestic routes. While VARIG was based in GIG, VASP was based in GRU and the planes tend to hang out there. There was only 1 special livery, which was a named MD-11, so not much variation unlike VARIG. VASP did serve SDU and CGH with mainline equipment, however, so these plans will help populate those airports. Included are repaints by Raphael Rodrigues for the FAIB 737-200, 737-300, FSPX MD-11, and TFS A300B4. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. I am very proud to present this very detailed and realistic repaint of the BAC 1-11 204AF model by David Maltby in the classic US Air livery from the early 80's. This was one of the original jets flown by US Air. It flew side by side in their fleet with the B727, DC9 and 737-200. This repaint is the result of a major overhaul of the paintkit for this aircraft, and is very detailed and realistic. The many new details and hand repainted items include; custom metal fuselage, custom windows, custom tail textures, hand painted wheels, and also much needed night lighting and night textures. The US Air logo is also hand painted. All repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps. This repaint is dedicated to Lorne Jordan, a Canadian simmer who inspired this project and who helped Q/A this repaint so we didn't miss a detail. Thanks to the permission granted by of the gracious and talented David Maltby (creator of this aircraft model), this is a full installation package, complete with 2D panel, virtual cockpit and BAC 1-11 sounds.
