Swedish Air Force Saab J-37 Viggen (Part 1). The Viggen was designed as a Cold War-era multi-role fighter, and proved itself throughout its career to be versatile in air superiority, attack/strike, antiship, and recce roles. First flying in 1967, with 329 aircraft built, the Viggen served the Flygvapnet (Swedish Air Force) for 34 years. I present an 8-LOD AI traffic model to bring another Cold War icon to the flightsim world. This first of two package represents the AJ-37 (strike), JA-37 (air superiority), SH-37 (maritime recce/antiship), SF-37 (recce), and SK-37 (two-seater) in the service of the Swedish Air Force, with 20 models and 82 repaints. The aircraft is named "G'n twak", which in Afrikaans is loosely (!) translated; "No nonsense". Photo-realistic DDs textures with Alpha channels. For FSX only (although can be adapted for FS9).

Included in this file 13 real liveries,Iran Air Force, Malaysia Air Force, Third World Hope Inc, Pen Turbo Aviation Inc (2 liveries) , Greatland Air Cargo, N94NC, C9-ATE, Wardair Canada, ERIM, Trigana Air, Union Flights & USAF. The "Boo", as it was known, was an excellent cargo lifter, in spite of its ungainly appearance. With outstanding short/rough field capability, it could lift useful loads into almost any airstrip. Caribou production ended in 1973 after 307 had been built, most of which were for military customers.
