File Description:
On the take-over of British United by Caledonian Airways the tiltes and logo of BUA were quickly painted out and Caledonian/BUA titles were applied to both fleets. The airline later became British Caledonian. You will need the BAC 1-11 200 Model by David Maltby\nwww.dmflightsim.co.uk.

SADIA's first brand new One-Eleven 520 was delivered in October 1970 joining an example leased from Austral. It wore SADIA's final smart and very contempory livery. Adopting the cream and brown TransBrasil livery this aircraft was lost in a landing accident in February 1974. Requires the BAC One-Eleven 500 model by David Maltby

I am very proud to present this very detailed and realistic repaint of the BAC 1-11 204AF model by David Maltby in the classic US Air livery from the early 80's. This was one of the original jets flown by US Air. It flew side by side in their fleet with the B727, DC9 and 737-200. This repaint is the result of a major overhaul of the paintkit for this aircraft, and is very detailed and realistic. The many new details and hand repainted items include; custom metal fuselage, custom windows, custom tail textures, hand painted wheels, and also much needed night lighting and night textures. The US Air logo is also hand painted. All repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps. This repaint is dedicated to Lorne Jordan, a Canadian simmer who inspired this project and who helped Q/A this repaint so we didn't miss a detail. Thanks to the permission granted by of the gracious and talented David Maltby (creator of this aircraft model), this is a full installation package, complete with 2D panel, virtual cockpit and BAC 1-11 sounds. A new AFCAD2 file with added/dedicated parking - new taxi-way, fictional flight plans for the AB Shannon AI BAC1-11. BAC 1-11 model is DEE WALDRONS for AI hand painted by René Bruun. This is just to enhance Shannon. IFSD will be releasing a Shannon payware scenery in the near future.

This is a texture set for David Maltby's BAC 1-11-200 in Air Malawi colours. 7Q-YKE (s/n 039) was leased from Zambia Airways (9J-RCH) in 1970 until delivery of their own BAC1-11-475 in 1972. The paint scheme seems to have been adapted from the Zambia Airways one by removing the top orange stripe on the cheatline. Orginal model by David Maltby required.

File Description:
British United were quick to order One-Eleven 500 series to suppliment their existing fleet of 200's. The extra length of the 500 is enhanced by the BUA livery although the extra window at the front caused the deletion of the logo. You will need the BAC 1-11 500 Model by David Maltby\www.Maltbyd.fsnet.co.uk.
