Virgin Atlantic is a British airline with its head office in Crawley, West Sussex, England. The airline was established in 1984 as British Atlantic Airways, and was originally planned by its co-founders Randolph Fields and Alan Hellary to fly between London and the Falkland Islands. Soon after changing the name to Virgin Atlantic Airways, Fields sold his shares in the company after disagreements with Richard Branson over the management of the company. The maiden flight from Gatwick to Newark Liberty International Airport took place on 22 June 1984. The airline along with Virgin Holidays is controlled by a holding company Virgin Atlantic Limited which is owned 51% by the Virgin Group and 49% by Delta Air Lines.
Virgin Atlantic livery painted on Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) Boeing 787-9 Rolls Royce Trent 1000 model. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2267, April 18, 1942. Painted over The B24 Guy's B25 Mitchell Overhaul Model. This was mission plane #15. Pilot: Lt. Donald G. Smith, Co-Pilot: Lt. Griffith P. Williams, Navigator/ Bombardier: Lt. Howard A. Sessler, Flight Engineer: Sgt. Edward J. Saylor, Gunner: Lt. Thomas R. White. The bomb group attacked targets in the Tokyo area. The North American B-25B was not designed or intended for aircraft carrier use, but there they were, sixteen highly modified bombers sitting on the deck of the USS Hornet (CV-8). They were modified to carry bombs to Tokyo. The B-25s are launched from their maximum range, and flew over Tokyo, bombing several installations. The bombs did little damage, but managed to damage the Japanese carrier Ryuho while it is in drydock. Many of the planes then head to wherever they can make it, since the fuel will be empty before they reach a friendly airbase. All of the B-25 bombers are forced to bail out or crash land except one. Eleven crews are forced to bail out over China, 3 crash land, and the last landed safely at Vladivostok. The crew that landed in Russia was interned, along with the plane, for a while. The crews were all volunteer, and had no carrier experience, yet all sixteen of the bombers were successful on take-off. Although little physical damage was inflicted on Japan, that day, the Japanese populace was demoralized, as suddenly, the war was brought to their homeland. Texture, and Damage Files included. This folder contains three repaints for the Warbirdsim P-51D Little Friends package, in the colors of 3 P-51D's of the 335th FS, 4th FG, based in Debden, UK, in March 1945. Included are:
P-51D-20NA 44-63166 "Ridge Runner II", the second aircraft called Ridge Runner flown by Major Pierce W. McKennon. This was the aircraft in which he was shot down near Neubrandenburg on the 18th of March 1945. Captain George Green landed in a field and picked up his CO in his aircraft WD-M, and both flew back to the UK.;
P-51D-10NA 44-14557 "The Duchess", the aircraft of Major William O'Donnell
P-51D-20NA 44-6373 "Suzon", the aircraft of Captain George D. Green. He was flying this aircraft on 18 March 1945 when he saw his CO, Maj. McKennon bail out near Neubrandenburg and land in a field. He landed his aircraft in the field as well, threw out his parachute, and both pilots squeezed in the cockpit, took off and flew back to the UK.

This folder contains three repaints for the A2A World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang, representing G4-B "Sweet Helen II", flown by Harvey Mace, G4-O "Sebastian Jr", flown by Robert Becker and G4-U "Wee Willy" as flown by Calvert Williams in the half paint scheme as used in the second half of 1944 with the 362nd Fs/ 357th FG.
