Kansai Airport Scenery AFCAD

File Description:
This AFCAD file, named RJBBBB.txt, is an FS2002 facility file for Kazuhiro Miyazaki's Kansai International Airport scenery. It adds as many gates and parking spaces as possible to the airport. All taxiways match the scenery perfectly. The file ID is RJBB and has the following gate distribution: Heavy-8, Medium-11, Small-22, Express-12, GA-12. I have included Lee Swordy's AF Installer along with this file. It automatically installs it into FS2002. To use the installer, simply click on the file RJBBBB.txt and drag it onto the AF Installer icon.

Light Aircraft Autopilot

File Description:
This gauge has been designed to fit into those tight spaces and provide basic functions for flying light aircraft. The autopilot can keep the wings level and hold a chosen vertical speed in feet. I have included an example panel.cfg for Rick Piper's Aeroprakt A-22 Foxbat with the fantastic Apollo SL40 Comm radio, GX50 GPS and SL70 Transponder radio stack gauges by Gerd R. Nehr. The panel.cfg also uses a gauge called 'dsd_view_skip' by Douglas S. Dawson to remove the 2D view. This gauge is not included.

Republic P-47D-22 365th FG (B4-A) "Sweet Sue"

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22-RE 42-26267 B4-A "Sweet Sue", the assigned aircraft of Captain Julius 'Jack' Almond, of the 387th FS/ 365th FG. He was one of three pilots of the 387th that tested an electric bomb release, developed by the 387th's chief armorer, Sgt Joseph Piantino. They tested it for three months and found that it not only gave better accuracy, but was also easier to maintain. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

Republic P-47D-22 365th FG (C4-Z) "Dry Run"

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22-RE 42-26124 C4-Z "Dry Run", the assignjed aircraft of Lt Zell Smith, of the 388th FS/365th FG. Hailing from Monroe, Louisiana, Lt. Smith was one of the original pilots of the 365th. He had a very dry sense of humor, which was sometimes mistaken for a serious demeanor, but other pilots liked to fly with him because he exuded confidence. During the october 21, 1944 'turkey shoot', he was credited with shooting down a 109, a 190 and damaging a second 190. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

Republic P-47D-22 404th FG (Y8-W) "Fighting Gator"

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22 42-26046 Y8-W "Fighting Gator" as flown by Lt. Fred Varn of the 507th FS/ 404th FG. It was a Republic Employee donated P47 that completed 200 missions without a technical abort and was retired from operational duties at a service conducted by the Group Commander. The aircraft was painted with the Republic Employee donated plaque and the ribbons of the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal and the Purple Heart. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

File Description:
This is a repaint of Brian Galden's Piper PA-22 Tri-Pacer (pa22_04.zip). Aircraft is depicted in French Army Aviation (ALAT) markings whilst assigned to ERM Versailles ca. 1966. Code letters are non-standard, both in shape and in dimensions. Repaint by Michel Gerard.
