GenAir v1.1

File Description:
GenAir is a Windows program written to generate an airports.txt file used for AI Flightplans from an existing FlightPlans.txt file. It can be used to quickly produce a matching airports.txt file for your own flightplans, or with someone else's flightplans if they did not include a valid airports.txt file. Now you can be sure that your airports.txt file includes all the correct airport codes, and only the airport codes that are actually used in the flightplan file. Using an airports.txt file that only includes the airports used within a flightplan can dramatically reduce the traffic bgl file size for FS2004.

F4U-4N Bu. 82050 K205 VF-32 for DBolt's Model

File Description:
F4U-4N Bu. 82050 K205 VF-32 USS Leyte (CVS-32) LTjg Thomas J Hudner, Korea. Near the Chosin Reservoir on December 4, 1950, Hudner crash-landed his Corsair on an enemy mountaintop in a failed attempt to rescue downed pilot Jesse L. Brown. For his act of bravery, Hudner was later awarded the Medal of Honor by President Harry S. Truman. A new skin, painted as an F4U-4N Corsair over DBolt's F4u-1C model. This Texture Folder comes with new texture bmp's, and new damage bmp's. With this skin, and DBolt's model, you have an unmirrored aircraft. Enjoy!

Double Eagle II (KAEG) AFCAD Update

File Description:
This airport is currently under expansion. This will take several years to complete. Recently some work was completed; an extension of Taxiway Alpha to connect it to Bravo, the addition of Taxiway Charlie that connects Runway 17/35 at its mid point to Runway 04/22, and Taxiway Alpha extension that connects Runway 02/22 to the ramp from its mid point. Runway 17/35 also had an overrun extension of 1000 ft in preparation of an official extension of that runway to 11,500 ft later. From Paul Bing's file of the whole airport real_kaeg_v1.zip

LOM Library Objects Images

File Description:
FS2004 LOM Library Objects Images. This archive contains an image import file containing thumbnails or image files for use with Library Object Manager (LOM) version 1.0+ program to manage FS2004 library objects and create scenery by ScruffyDuck Software, Jon Masterson. This is an image collection of 48 objects including airport towers, nav facilities, water towers, ballons, static airplanes and fuel tanks. Requires LOM_100.ZIP and EZ Scenery library FS9_CUSTOM_OBJECTS_SS_1.ZIP. Also included is a set of higher resolution screenshots to upgrade those images imported into LOM. Higher resolution screenshots are suitable for printing an index or contact sheet of images. By Bryan Wallis.

Aeriane Swift'Light PAS for FSX and FS2004 - The Swift’Light was originally a foot launchable sailplane, designed mainly to fly in thermal lift and at low speed. The engine kit is intended to give full autonomy to the Swift’Light, giving it the ability to taxi and take off without any help. The engine unit doesn’t turn the Swift’Light into an aircraft or an ultra light. The powered Swift’Light is more an ultralight sailplane with self launch capability. This model made with g-Max features full animations,a choice of two detailed VC cockpits (one with and one without the pilot),and custom built gauges.

"Crosshairs_Plus" Panel & Model Enhancement Package

File Description:
This is a panel & model enhancement package for the popular FinneyGround Crosshairs_Plus scenery placement tool (chplus.zip), by Gary Mills, Robert Finnegan, and Kevin Bryan (FinneyGround). This package adds a "panel" with a highly accurate XML "Scenery Placement Gauge". Also included is an additional Gmax model, considerably smaller in size and graduated in feet rather than meters. In addition to being an extremely accurate scenery placement tool, this aircraft is an absolute hoot to fly! A minimal 2D panel .bmp aids visual reference from the cockpit while flying the model. Requires "chplus.zip", also available here at Avsim.

Polet Air Company (Russia) Winter 2007/2008

File Description:
Initial started as a cargo carrier (inter alia operating An-124 aircraft) since August 2003 Polet Airlines Company (Polyot Rossiskaya aviakompania) has started regular passenger operations between several Russian cities on Yak-40 and An-24 aircraft. Currently - operating Saab 2000 and An-24 aicraft - passenger service network include Moscow, St.Petersburg, Voronezh, Tambov, Belgorod and Ulyanovsk on domestic scheduled flights. International flights are operated to Munich, Prague, Istanbul, Yerevan and Baku. Data taken from Polets web site. Schedule effective 28th October 2007 to 29th March 2008. Tested with TTools - bgl-file included. Cargo flight not included.

Aegean Airlines Avro RJ100

File Description:
This is an Avro RJ100 repainted in the AEGIAN AIRLINES livery by John Orfanos ([email protected]). The RJ100 is an upgraded model of the similar BAe 146-300. The model [(ARNZ) BAe 1463) is the best I could find as freeware on the net having dynamic wing views on both sides. I have used the default 737 panel just to minimize the size of the file. Attention has been given to the night lighting of the aircraft with the lights reflecting on the sides of the engines. Mip Maps excluded to remove the blurries.... It is an excellent AI aircraft

Mid-resolution (300-m) terrain mesh for the entire province of British Columbia (950,000 square km) and the Alaska panhandle southeast of N60 W139. Made from 250m-resolution source data without oversampling. Easy on frame rates and hard drive space. It transforms the rounded mountains of the default terrain mesh into a much more realistic representation of the diverse topography of this beautiful corner of the world. Experience the spectacular scenery between Vancouver and Atlin, Juneau and Fort St. John, and Mount Robson to Clayoquot Sound.
