Creating Icons & Popup Windows - an Illustrated Tutorial. Have you ever wanted to add an icon to a panel which will "call" a pop-up window displaying a picture or chart or a gauge which is not already available? This step by step illustrated tutorial will show you how to accomplish that task. No programming knowledge is required - just a little patience. All necessary files are included. If I can can do it, anyone can. Just unzip to a folder of you choice and enjoy. This procedure has been tested in FS2004 only. File Description:
After losing the use of their own aircraft while being repaired after a hijacking, Lanica leased in from other airlines to cover. Intially it operated a CourtLine series 500 but soon replaced that machine with this American Airlines series 401 that had been leased to Merpati Airlines of Indonesia. Still in the Indonesian carriers residual livery it was in use from March 1972 until March 1973 when it was sold on to Bahamasair as VP-BDI.Requires the BAC One-Eleven 400 model by David Maltby.

Reducing FSX Traffic speed - an Illustrated tutorial
One of the more "interesting" enhancements which Microsoft introduced in FSX is the vehicle traffic which can be seen on the highways around larger cities and airports. However many simmers feel the speed at which these vehicles travel is considerably too fast and therefore quite unrealistic. One simmer has even commented that he cannot overtake many vehicles when flying low and slow in the default Cessna.
It is quite easy to edit the speeds of such vehicles and the process has been documented in at least one forum post. However I thought it might be useful - especially for those not accustomed to working with command line interfaces - to have a tutorial available which illustrates each step.
