NTGK Kaukura, French Polynesia Download

File Description:
Googly scenery for NTGK Kaukura, a small airport on Motu Panao island of Kaukura atoll, part of the Tuamotu group in French Polynesia. The airport, opened in 1994, is served just a couple of times per week by ATR turboprop aircraft of Air Tahiti. Flight Simulator 2004 has only provided a runway at this airport and this scenery seeks to redress the situation so that you and your "AI" traffic can use the airport. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

OSDI Damascaus International, Syria Download

File Description:
Googlyafcad A&F Data for Damascus International, based on Google Earth satellite data. Unfortunately, Microsoft have provided only limnited facilities at this important airport in Flight Simulator 2004 and the absence of many taxiways present in the real world can cause traffic to queue for long periods. This file will allow you and your "AI" traffic to land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner.

Bristol Britannia Download

File Description:
A highly detailed and comprehensive panel designed for Mike Stone's Bristol Britannia aircraft. In addition to the standard instrumentation, includes cabin announcements, traffic radar, fuel management etc. Also requires a) FSUIPC (the latest version is always available at http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html and is essential for the operation of some of the gauges in this panel), b) (optional) Flight Deck Sound Effects available here at AVSIM - fdsfxpnl.zip, and c) (optional) GPWS Altitude Call-Out Sounds available here at AVSIM - fpda_a330_callout.zip. The manual is available in plain text format in this main download, or you can download an illustrated manual separately from the same download site in PDF format (britpanm.zip). This is the result of over eighteen months of development and has been produced specifically as a thankyou to all the people that have produced free add-ons that I have benefitted from. I hope this enhances the pleasure of flying the only British-built long long-range turboprop airliner.

Stereo Sound Upgrade for Bristol Hercules Engines Download

File Description:
This stereo sound upgrade of Harry Follas's Bristol Hercules piston-engine sounds for FS98 was created primarily for use with the Handley Page Hermes by Georg Hauzenberger, but should work well with any aircraft that was fitted with these engines. This includes aircraft such as the Handley Page Hastings, Grumman Albatross, Nord Noratlas, Vickers Viking, Short Solent, Avro Lancaster (Mk2 models) and the Bristol Beaufighter. By converting the sounds to FS2004 multiple-engine stereo, the engines now emit a realistic piston-engine roar at full throttle, but this quietens down to a more subtle sound in cruise. Other associated sounds have been added - ehgine startup, shutdown and wind effects in flight. Touchdown effects will now detect if the aircraft is landing on ground or water so you can comfortably use these sounds with amphibious aircraft. Requires original FS98 soundpack by Harry Follas hercsnd.zip (the files are also distributed with the Handley Page Hermes and Hastings models and probably others too.

WASF Fak-Fak Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for WASF Fak-Fak, in Irian Jaya (Western New Gunea), Indonesia - a small domestic airport that Microsoft managed to omit from Flight Simulator 2004. These scenery files add the runway, apron, taxiways, buildings and other airport features so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. Little information is available on the services operated - flight plans are available for Lion Airlines showing two flights per week operated on their behalf by Wings Abadi Dash 8 aircraft. But it is known that Merpati Nusentara also serve the airport with Twin Otters. If you are using the Lion Airlines flight plans for Winter 2006, you must change the airport's co-ordinates as detailed in the readme.txt file because the co-ordinates given there will cause the aircraft to aim for a point on the wrong side of the equator in the middle of the sea! There is no lighting at this airport, and few navigational aids. However, I have added a missing NDB nearby (FA, 380.0). The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. The quality of the satellite imagery at Google Earth is poor, but a number of photographs and other information has enabled this airport to be depicted reasonably accurately. However the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. An editvoicepack file has been included for the airport to help you embarrass yourself in front of others when flying. [File re-uploaded at request of AVSIM]

WBGT/WBTM Long Banga, Tanjung Manis, Malaysia Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for WBGT Long Banga, Tanjung Manis (sometimes also referred to under the ICAO code WBTM) - a small domestic airport in Malaysia that it seems Microsoft forgot to provide in in Flight Simulator 2004. These scenery files create the airport and add taxiways, aprons, buildings and other airport features, so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. Also added is the missing TMS non-directional beacon at this airport (on frequency 264.0). The airport serves the township of Sarikei, capital of the Sarekei district in the Sarekei Division (are you following this?) of Sarawak in Eastern Malaysia. Flights are provided by MASwings, a subsidiary of Malaysian Airlines, with De Havilland Twin Otter aircraft calling here a few times per week. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.
