VEAT Argatala, India Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for VEAT Argatala, India - one of the airports that Microsoft seem to have, um, "forgotten" in FS2004. In the real world it is regularly served by Boeings and Airbii of Alliance Air, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines (and smaller aircraft), using the 6000 foot runway with little room for manoevre. These scenery files add aprons, taxiways, buildings and other airport features to Flight Simulator's bland representation and allow you, and "AI" traffic, to land, taxi, park and take off realistically. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportianally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. Details of optional additional scenery library downloads are provided within. [File re-uploaded at request of AVSIM]

VAUD Udaipur/Dabok, India Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for VAUD Udaipur/Dabok, (also sometimes referred to as VAID) a small domestic airport in India served by about six flights a day by jets and propeller aircraft from airlines such as Alliance Air, Jagson Airlines and Jet Airways. These scenery files improve/add aprons, taxiways, buildings and other airport features to Flight Simulator's basic representation. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added [File re-uploaded at request of AVSIM] airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. World GA Traffic Download

File Description:
These AI flight plan files have been created as a replacement to (NOT an addition to) the default Microsoft FS2004 GA flight plans. If you already use proper AI flight plans for commercial traffic, this is ideal for you. The default flight plans, as many know, are far from realistic as traffic just flies back and forth between two airports at regular intervals throughout each 24-hour day. These replacement plans are far more realistic in that: a) Aircraft keep flying to different airports throughout the day, returning home in the evening. b) Each aircraft flies to different destinations on different days of the week, c) Evening flights are substantially reduced, d) Night flights are minimal, and e) Appropriate country-based tail numbers are used. The flights comprise a total of 25389 aircraft, flying to 5520 different airfields. There are no circuits or touch and go flights to hamper your landing. They use only the MS default aircraft and fly to and from the default GA airports in FS2004. The only vintage aircraft included in these plans are DC-3s and Piper Cubs. LELC Murcia/San Javier, Spain Download

File Description:
Googly scenery for LELC San Javier, Spain, a medium-sized airport on the Costa Cálida 17 miles south of Murcia. The airport sees daily scheduled traffic operated by Canadair Regional Jets and Dash 8 turboprops of Air Nostrum but a large proportion of the airport's traffic is derived from tourist charter traffic from operators such as Air Berlin, Easyjet, LTU International and Ryanair and the airport can accept aircraft as large as the Boeing 767. The north end of the airport is home to the Spanish Air Force Academy. Flight Simulator 2004 has made little provision for traffic with facilities only for general aviation aircraft and this scenery seeks to redress the situation. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

Euromanx - Summer 2005 Download

File Description:
Summer 2005 flight plans for use with Flight Simulator 2002 or 2004 AI traffic, based on the company's published timetable. Their scheduled services operate between the Isle of Man and various airports in the UK mainland and Ireland.

Euromanx is a fast-expanding airline focussing on the business commuter market, but does not appear to actually own many aircraft. Many services are operated by aircraft wet-leased from other airlines. Details will be found in the documentation.

The schedules are 100% accurate, as are flight numbers and aircraft allocations, but see the documentation for minor differences that exist prior to 20th May.

FNGI N'giva/Ondjiva Pereira, Angola Download

File Description:
Googly scenery for N'giva - Ondjiva Pereira (ICAO: FNGI, IATA: NGV), an airport serving Ondjiva, one of Angola's larger cities. Until relatively recently it possessed little more than a dirt runway but recent expansion has seen the commissioning of a longer asphalt runway and a terminal area. Today, the airport sees passenger and cargo flights from airlines such as Air Gemini, Angola Airlines, Savanair and Sonair utilising a variety of aircraft from the little Let 410 turboprop through to Boeing 737 jets. Microsoft have only provided the dirt runway at this airport in Flight Simulator 2004 and this scenery seeks to redress the situation so that you and your "AI" traffic can use the airport realistically.

Labelled Cockpit Switches Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Wow! This ***MEGA*** cockpit gauge pack from Touch-Up Designs brings you a fantasmodical download, now being made exclusively available to AVSIM users totally free of charge. You will be unable to resist slobbering over the virtual unreality that this download brings to your aircraft. Did you fall for all that hype? Oh good. There really isn't a lot interesting to say about a boring set of cockpit switch gauges which are just a simple modification of one of the splendid CPT Toggles/Switches gauges by Jorge Salas with added individual labelling for each switch (on a transparent background) - absolutely ideal for the lazy panel designer. Should work with FS2002, FS2004 and FSX, although I have no plans to test it with the latter. Incidentally, every download automatically grants you free membership of the LPDS - you can see how many there are in that society by looking at the total number of downloads below. Broadband users are requested not to blink during the download. Guaranteed 0.00001% realistic.
