Googlyafcad A&F Data file for HCMH Hargeisa, Somalia, based on Google Earth satellite data. Unfortunately, Microsoft have provided no facilities in Flight Simulator 2004 at this small domestic airport in Somalia (or any other one, come to that) which sees occasional flights (mostly cargo) from a range of operators - most of which use Russian-built aircraft. This upgrade redresses the subject by providing parking facilities
so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off realistically.

satellite data.
Unfortunately, Microsoft have provided no facilities in Flight Simulator 2004
at this small domestic airport in Peru, which sees occasional passenger flights
from domestic operator L C Busre along with, possibly, other operators of small
aircraft - although information is hard to find.
The satellite data currently available for this area is of very poor quality, so
accuracy cannot be guaranteed but it is believed to be reasonably correct.

This set provides for the Korean-built Kai KT-1, plus older aircraft in the form of the Miles Marathon and De Havilland Heron. "Euraka!" I cried in the middle of the night. My wife rolled over and mumbled "its not me, it must be the cat". But I was pleased with myself, for I had suddenly thought of a way to eliminate Microsoft's radiused corners where taxiway meets runway. They are a nifty arrangement, when you want them, but at this airport (clearly evidenced by Google Earth) they do not exist on the concrete connections. So here is a revised version of my Googlyafcad for WPDL Dili-Comoro-Komoro-Presidente Nicolau Lobato International or whatever it is called today. I considered calling this version 1.0062A so as to impress but I think you might prefer me to call it it version 2. Unfortunately, Microsoft's perception of this airport in Flight Simulator is a wee bit under scale and the ramp areas provided barely allow the parking of a flea, never mind the Boeing 737s that serve this airport. This A&F Data file allows you and "AI" traffic to land, park and take-off in the proper manner. But there is more . . . the Google Earth picture clearly shows three parked
helocopters, so to give the place a little atmosphere, I've provided an additional file which will place three static helicopters at the airport. They will only show if you have the Rwy12 libraries
installed, but the file won't bite if you don't. (replaces af2_wpdl.zip)

Googlyafcad for VAKJ Khajuraho,India.
Unfortunately, Microsoft provided nothing other than a runway at this
small Indian domestic airport, served about twice a day by Airbii
and Boeings of Indian Airlines and Jet Airways. These files redress
the subject by providing the small ramp so that you, and your "AI"
traffic, can land, taxi, park and take off realistically.

File Description:
Googly scenery for HSSS Khartoum, Sudan. For Sudan's main international airport,
the Flight Simulator depiction is somewhat simplified, depicting just a few
buildings which are badly located. These scenery files attempt to reproduce
the real atmosphere of the airport - from the huge clutter of small hangars
and workshops and large quantities of inactive planes through to the aircraft
dump at the north end of the airport.
The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite
imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added
airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects
and third-party object libraries so will not look like the real thing.
You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries,
but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine,
with or without. These files complement the Sudan Airways AI Fleet Pack by Billy Rutherford &
John Hinson, updating the scenery files contained therein, but the two are not
inter-dependent.
