1946 - Croydon to Beirut by DH Dragon Rapide

File Description:
A letter in the September edition of "Aeroplane" was the inspiration for the creation of this Flight. Ronald Neal flew as part of the crew on a delivery flight of a De Havilland DH-89 from Marseille to Beirut and listed the refuelling stops across the top of Africa. This occurred not too long after the end of World War 2. I have started the journey at Croydon, with the first stop being St. Nazaire, the port on the east coast of France from which German U-boats ventured. The next stop is Marseille and then the stops referred to in the letter, namely Ajaccio, Tunis, Castel Benito, Marble Arch, Benina, El Adem, Matruh and Heliopolis (Cairo). Thence to Beirut. Dave Garwood created a lovely model of the DH89a for FS2004 and you can find that - and many excellent repaints - right here on Avsim.com. Look for fs9_dh89.zip.

The MATVA Group (www.matva.org.uk) offers you yet more Afcad2 files for those airfields MATVA utilise. These Afcads are designed for FS2004 default airfields only. TUI Airlines Belgium Winter 04-05 (version 2)

File Description:
FS2002/2004 "TUI Airlines Belgium" representative charter flight plans for the winter 2004-2005 period, which have been compiled according to the company information for the week 07 Mar 2005 - 13 Mar 2005. This version is an UPDATE of my previous release due to the arrival of their own Boeing 767-300ER. TUI Airlines Belgium (TUB) is a charter airline based in Belgium, flying with three 737-400, two 737-800W, and one 767-300ER from its main base Brussels-National as well as from regional airports of Liège and Oostende. As for all charter company, flights differs from one week to one another but this file comprises its main destinations regularly visited throughout the winter period. The TUB winter season flights comprises both medium- and long-haul destinations from Brussels, Liège and Oostende-Brugge to Agadir, Alicante, Almeria, Cancun, Djerba, Faro, Fuerteventura, Hurghada, Lanzarote, Las Palmas, Luxor, Malagà, Marrakech, Monastir, Montego Bay, Pafos, Palma de Mallorca, Puerto Plata, Punta Cana, Santa Cruz (La Palma), Sharm el Sheikh, and Tenerife-Sur, and Varadero. As from spring 2005, TUB will launch scheduled services to Agadir, Cairo, Marrakech, Tanger, Toulon, as well as new charter flights to Ajaccio, Bastia, Marsa Alam, Funchal, plus many other charter destinations to Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey. TUI Airlines Belgium Winter 04-05

FS2002/2004 "TUI Airlines Belgium" representative charter flight plans for the winter 2004-2005 period, which have been compiled according to the company information for the week 31 Jan 2005 - 06 Feb 2005. TUI Airlines Belgium is a young charter airline based in Belgium, flying with three 737-400 and two 737-800 from its main base Brussels-National as well as from regional airports of Liège and Oostende. As for all charter company, flights differs from one week to one another but this file comprises its main destinations regularly visited throughout the winter period. Recently, TUB flies long-haul from Brussels to Cancun, Montego Bay, Puerto Plata, Punta Cana, and Varadero. These flights are temporarily wet-leased from other companies, due to the fact that they are still waiting their own 767-300 to be delivered. During this period a Euro Atlantic Airways L-1011 TriStar is wet-leased, but previously aircraft from BelgiumExel, Loftleidir Icelandic or Condor were also used for the network. On this side of the Ocean the winter season flights operates to Agadir, Alicante, Almeria, Djerba, Faro, Fuerteventura, Hurghada, Lanzarote, Las Palmas, Liège, Luxor, Malagà, Marrakech, Monastir, Oostende, Pafos, Palma de Mallorca, Santa Cruz (La Palma), Sharm el Sheikh, and Tenerife-Sur.
