CityLynx have started to operate the old McDonnell-Douglas MD-11 on our New York route temporarly while we purchase a new A330. Hard-worked Indian Airlines YS-11

File Description:
Indian Airlines actually flew the Hawker Siddeley 748, but the paint just looks good on the wonderful Allied Fs Group model. This plane is depicted after a hard shift in the monsoon season, hand-painted for maximum realism.

Indian Airlines AFG YS-11 Update

File Description:
Improved Indian Airlines YS-11 "after a hard shift in monsoon season" repaint for even more realism. Additional weathering such as dirty tires as well as subtle improvements. Additional markings. Also look out for some eye candy inside! Indian Airlines actually flew the Hawker Siddeley 748, but this paint just looks good on the wonderful Allied Fs Group model (available at avsim.com - thanks guys, this is one of the alltime best!!!).

MI-24 Hind Soviet "Red 11"

File Description:
This repaint of the excellent MI-24V Hind-E by Tim Conrad resembles the Soviet "Red 11". It was the first Hind ever to visit the UK. It was the sign the Cold War came to an end. AFG YS-11 tripple paint kit

File Description:
AFG YS-11 tripple paintkit,is a layered paintkit for use with paintshop pro 8,but should work with later versions,but not tested on the later versions. It allows you to paint your airline colour scheme once,and can then be very easy to make it work for the passenger/combi or freighter variants,by selecting the different layers,on or off,and then saving the file. the only thing that has to be done for each aircraft,is any individual name or aircraft reg number. also included,are texture files,and instructions,that are required,to make the fs2002 freighter,fully fs9 compatable. this file was used to make the textures on the YS-11 reeve aleutian old colours/combi,and the litoral/passenger variants. you also need AFG YS-11 BASE PACK A v2.5 a jac/kor for fs2004 and abex for fs2002 modified for fs2004.

LAPA Namc YS-11 Combi (Green)

File Description:
LJ in LAPA green livery.When in September 1979 Austral ceased operations with the Namcs, LAPA (Lineas Aereas Privadas Argentinas) an emergent commuter airline, bought the three planes and obtained the governmental license to exploit the forsaken routes left by Austral. With a new livery, and an agressive advertising campaign, the Namcs based at SABE, begun flights to Gral. Pico, Gral. Roca, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Necochea and Pehuajo. Despite a promising beginning, such routes were not profitable at the end, and the planes flew with a coefficient of occupation of only 21%, too low to keep the Namcs on the air. LAPA then, decided to halt the YS-11 and to replace them with the smaller Shorts 330. By the end of 1981, the Namcs were made available to the market, and bought by Mid-Pacific Air, concluding fourteen years of presence of the Namcs in Argentina. Included in this file there's a version of the YS-11 Combi fitted with the external Apu kit, done by Esa Kaihlanen of the AFG team. Textures only for the AFG's Namc YS-11 V2.7 Combi Configuration (ys-11combi.zip).
