The Grumman Cougar was the first swept wing operational jet fighter to enter service with the US Navy. Developed from the straight winged F9F Panther, the F9F-6 Cougar first flew on 20th September 1951 & entered service in late 1952. Douglas DC-3 Cambrian Airways (2)

File Description:
A DC-3 in two liveries. Cambrian Airways DC-3s flew classic "Union Jack" colours from 1954 to the mid-60s. Thereafter, the distinctive 'red bars' livery adorned the company's propliners. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, these models include transparent cockpit and cabin windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening passenger door, boarding ladder and other details. Includes FS2002 lights fix by Paul Pridmore. Default panel and sound. Repaints by Mark Beaumont.

Royal Australian Air Force Viscount 816 A6-436 1964

File Description:
Two Viscounts were operated by the RAAF for VIP transport duties. Although bought from Union Carbide in the USA and the Iranian Government, they had both originally been built for Trans Australia Airways but not delivered. A6-436 is shown in the early version of the RAAF livery with bare polished metal. Both delivered in the autumn of 1964, they were replaced by BAC One-Eleven jets and sold at the end of 1969. Requires the FSDS Viscount 800 model by Rick Piper.
