This update is intended for my KLM OC release for the PMDG 747. You will still need my original release, only two files will be modified. Updates include but are not limited to:
- Colours were far to dark and unrealistic, now corrected with colour sampling from photographs.
- Windows configuration is now true to the real PH-BFV
- KLM Logo on nose has been resized
- Stripes along entire fuselage have been moved and resized with reference to photographs of the real PH-BFV
- Added more dirt and scaled Seam lines
- General sharpening and quality improvement

File Description:
In 2003 Air New Zealand teamed up with film makers New Line Cinema in their biggest marketing campaign ever. The result was a range of fantastic "Lord of the Rings" liveries across the fleet, including two liveries for the 747-400 which I have now made available for use with PMDG's "Queen of the Skies"
Note this is not a complete aircraft download. These are texture files which are designed to be saved into your already existing Air New Zealand aircraft folder. See the Readme for more details.
Unfortunately no engine textures are available to accomodate the varients with engine artwork. I will add engine textures to this download at a later date.

Project Opensky 747-100 V4, With reflective textures. Model Features include fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, main gear steering, trim animation, opening passenger doors, opening cargo doors, dynamic flexing wings, animated tilting boogies, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverser's, fully reflective textures (each part has different degree of reflection based on material), accurate flight dynamics (accurate FDE with full profiles for wheels, tires, struts, leading/trailing struts, engine types ... Tested by real pilots.), newly re-defined individual part damage profiles, accurate spoiler animation, detailed textures, full night lighting, visible landing lights from the cockpit, reflective cockpit windows, crash effects, transparent nav light lenses, newly re-defined individual part damage profiles. OO-THD (c/n 35236/1399) (Version 1.5) Emirates SkyCargo is a cargo airline based at Dubai International Airport in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is a subsidiary of Emirates and started operations in October 1985. It operates dedicated cargo flights to 34 destinations in 22 countries, whilst using belly hold capacity in the Emirates passenger fleet. They also have various full freighters, 3 A310's and 7 747-400F's of which two of them are operated by TNT and the rest by Atlas Air (source: Wikipedia) Model by Project OpenSky.

| Cathay Pacific Airways Boeing 747-400 'VR-HOW' Old Colors |

File Description:
The Cathay Pacific Airways Boeing 747v4 POSKY. The colors of this VR-HOW existed from the early to late 90's. The engines were repainted in 1998. During the same year, the plane changed from VR-HOW to B-HOW. In 1999, the whole plane was repainted with the new Cathay colors we see today. This is a modified version of the origional POSKY 747v4 to work on FSX. However, not all functions are recovered from the conversion. Sorry, no sounds.

The Project Opensky Boeing 747V4 Classic Series PBR Native Conversion for P3DV4 and V5 is a newly updated conversion of the old top-hit freeware
add-on aircraft series that is known to the Flight Simulation Community since FS2002, FS2004, and onwards to FSX
and has been loved by thousands of Flight-simmers across the world because of its simple-but-great model,
and completely free of charge.
But with newer flight simulators on the line under the ESP Flight Simulator Type such as Lockheed Martin Prepar3DV4 and V5,
the Project Opensky Boeing 747V4 Classic Series (which was only made for FS9) were slowly falling behind and couldn’t keep up
with the current flight simulators today.
And now, for the first time in 2022; this newly-updated conversion has surfaced to the public and in the eyes of the flight
simulation community. Destined to fly in the current flight simulators of today like Prepar3D V4 and Prepar3D V5,
this classic freeware had continued to live on into the new era, bringing nostalgia not only just to those who flown it before in FS2004,
but also for a new generation who can relive classic scenes of the Jumbo Jet’s illustrious history through this iconic freeware add-on
aircraft series in today’s flight simulator platforms. It finally received an all new makeover!
And the permission to convert the models was acquired from
the developer who was the mind of the POSKY 747V4 Classic Series: Hiroshi Igami. And he gave our conversion team the green light to
do so. Leading to this conversion to surface in the public for the first time.
