Trans World Airlines Boeing 747-131 (4 variations) for FS9 and FSX; utilizing the payware CLS 747-200 (PW) model set. This file is my 3,000th official upload to AVSIM since 2002, many thanks to the fans who have requested, critiqued, praised, and blasted my work as necessary. There is no end in sight at this time, so look for a lot more work from me. Please read my text file for gobs of credit and thanks to the fans. This file pays homage to four generations of TWA liveries for this aircraft; an appropriate subject for a benchmark upload. Aircraft model and paint kit by Commercial Level Simulations, repaints by Michael Pearson.

File Description:
This is a repaint for the excellent payware Classics Hangar Focke-Wulf FW190A. To use these textures you must own a legal copy form this package.It depicts the Focke-Wulf FW190A-4 painted in an unusual pattern flown by Oberleutnant Wolfgang Leonhardt from Woensdrecht in the Netherlands during autumn of 1942. The repaint is based on a single profile in Kagero's Focke-Wulf FW190 by Krzysztof Janowicz.
To create this repaint large parts from Alessandro Biagi's original (default) textures and the paintkit (which is included in the payware package) were used.

File Description:
This is a repaint of one of the 2 aircraft used in the film "The High and The Mighty" (John Wayne and Robert Stack - 1954). This aircraft actually flew in this paint around Los Angeles and the bay area of southern California in November of 1953 for in-flight footage, so it's entirely fictional...but the airline was.
The original repaint was by Dave McQueen for Jens B. Kristensen's DC-4/C-54 version 2.0. I have updated it to make it compatable with the Jens' new version 2.1 (DC4_v21.zip) to use the DC-4-1009 airfile. Load your plane with 3050 gallons of fuel and balance out passengers and cargo to total 73,000 lbs. and you can duplicate flight #420 in the film! If you wish to shut down engine #1 and dump 200 gallons of fuel from the left wing and see if you can still get to San Fransico from Honolulu, that's up to you..but it is a challenge. Textures for Jens B. Kristensen's Douglas DC-4/C-54 - repainted by Manfred Meyer.
This are textures only, You need to download and install DC4_V21.ZIP by J. B. Kristensen!
These textures decipt N90201 (c/n 10828) originally delivered july 1945 as a C-54D to the USAAF and was later in service with the USAF until 1974. After storage at Davis Monthan AFB she became civil as N90201 with Aero Union in 1978, then Hondu Carib Cargo and 1987 bought by Cpt. Frank Moss. Finally, in 1994 the aircraft joined the fleet of Brooks Air Fuel and was converted to bulk fuel tanker. After an no.2 engine fire in 1999 it was withdrawn from use and stored at Fairbanks AL.
