File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22 42-26086 of the 342nd CG, 33rd FS, Iceland, June 1944. It made a forced landing at Patterson field on 11/6/1944 with Lt Clifford Martin piuloting. It was destroyed in a crash near Keflavik on 20/5/1945. Its pilot, Eugene S. Donell was killed in the crash.

| P-47D 324th FG/ 316th FS #86 "Black Sheep" |

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Shockwave World War II Fighters P-47D Thunderbolt, representing the aircraft flown by Lt Jerry Wurmser of the 316thnd FS/324th FG, in France and Germany, between 6 march 1945 and the end of the war. He is still alive, and told me: "The name "Black Sheep" was already painted on the plane when it was assigned to me. It previously had been assigned to someone in Britain, and eventually ended up in France after either being shot down or having crashed and then repaired. It had a brand new engine in it when I received it on March 6, 1945. At this time I had already completed 39 missions, and finally was assigned my own airplane. My first flight in it was to break in the new engine, or "slow time" it. This required flying it about for a period of time at very low throttle settings, to break in the new engine. The plane had already seen a lot of action, and the "form 1" contained a long list of malfunctions that was written up by the previous flyers and dates of repairs. Several times I had to sign the "exceptional release" form before going up, acknowledging that I knew and understood what the previous pilot stated what was wrong with it. This plane was a razorback, with the tail assembly out of line, so that I had to apply rudder correction constantly. It got such bad gas mileage that I carried one less bomb and a gas tank instead. I hated that plane. I finally did get a new bubble canopy plane, but by this time the War was over!"
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on two repaint kits, one by John Terrell and one by Shockwave. Included is a 1024 x 1024 bmp repaint, which should work in both FS9 and FSX.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Shockwave Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22-RA 42-26130 "Wild Bette", an aircraft of the 395th FS/368th FG, flown by Lt Richard Kik. He named his aircraft on the left hand side "Wild Bette", after his girlfriend. The name on the right hand side came from his crew chief, Sgt Mohn, since Kik often attacked targets relentlessly with disregard to anti-aircraft fire. In one 395th FS narrative is written "Lt Kik refuses to come back with any ammo". FS Real Time v1.96.8 (for P3Dv2, P3D, FSX, FS2004, FS2002, FS2000, FS98, CFS, and CFS2) is made to keep Flight Simulator's UTC (Zulu/GMT) time and date in sync with the Real World. It can maintain either the current Real Time, or an offset (+/-) so you can fly at any variation from Real Time. Fairchild Republic A-10A 45th FS. This is a repaint (textures only) for the payware IRIS A-10. This repaint was made with the included paint kit. This repaint represents #149 45th FS, 930th Operations Group, Grissom Air Force Base, Indiana. This airframe is finished in the Euro 1 scheme with black and white D-Day markings applied around the engine pods and wings to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the D-Day landings. By Brian Hill.

This is a repaint of the Jens B Kristensen DC-4 (C-54) v3 in Olympic Airways colors. You need the freeware DC-4 by Jens B Kristensen. SX-DAG was purchased in 1958 from KLM and flew with Olympic until 1967. Textures are 32bit. This aircraft was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3. Textures for FS2004 in 32bit BMP format are included for users of that platform.
