RiAir Riga Airlines 1998 AI Flightplans

File Description:
Latvia-based Riair was founded in 1992, later changing it's name to Riga Airlines. The carrier leased 737-200s from Russian carrier Transaero that were operated in Transaero's full livery, but with Riga Airlines titles added. Though at one point the carrier had 3 737-200s, for most of it's history as well as in 1998, the carrier had just 1 737-200 and served Paris, Moscow, and London before failing the following year. Belavia-Belarusian Airlines 1999 AI Package

File Description:
Belavia is a former divison of Aeroflot, formed in 1996 after the resolution of the Belarusian Governemnt and has had a similar livery every since. By 1998, the airline had expanded across Europe and Asia to serve several major cities, but had yet to modernize with Western aircraft, still operating Tu-154s, Tu-134s, YAK-40s, and An-24RVs on scheduled services. Since then, the airline has modernized with modern aircraft like the 737, CRJ, and EMB-190. Included are Christian Gold's textures for the TCAI Tu-154M, SBAI Tu-134, and Maxc-Sim YAK-40. Dinar Lineas Aereas 1998 AI Package

File Description:
Dinar Lineas Aereas was a low-cost Argentinian carrier operating from 1992-2002, primarily from Buenos Aires' Jorge Newbery Airport(SABE). Intially a charter and tour operator, the airline had branched out into scheduled flying by 1994. The airline was eventually shut down due to failing to comply with regulations regarding wet-leasing aircraft and fell almost $42 million USD into debt. Included are fleet repaints for the AIA MD-80, AIG DC-9-30, and FAIB 737-200 as well as flightplans all by Alex\Funk and APG Designs. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. Azerbaijan Airlines - AZAL 1999 AI Package

File Description:
Azerbaijan Airlines is one of dozens and dozens of airlines formed from the fall of the "Iron Curtain" after the break up of the Soviet Union. Initially operating with Russian equipment, the airline had already added 727-200s for some of it's Western European services by 1998. Still, the Russian metal was going strong, with the Yak 40, Tu-154M, and Tu-134A still active in the fleet. Unlike most post-Soviet start-ups, the airline is alive and well, operating modern aircraft like the 787 today. Included are repaints by Christian Gold for TCAI Tu-154M, SBAI Tu-134A, and the Maxc-Sim YAK-40. The 727-200 is in the Avsim library as "aia_b727200_azal.zip".Flightplans by Vadim Stepanyuk. Pacific Airlines (Vietnam) 1998 AI Flightplans

File Description:
Pacific Airlines started with humble beginnings, a few 737s flying around Vietnam. In 1998, during the Asian Economic Crisis, the airline was operating with MD-80s from Taiwanese LCC U-Land Airlines, with a single aircraft wearing "Pacific Airlines" titles while the the rest of the flights were covered with planes in the standard U-Land livery. This is represented in these plans. Despite the humble beginnings, this airline went on to become Jetstar Pacific. Planes were swapped between Pacific Airlines and U-Land Airlines, so you will need both liveries for these plans. Please make a second aircraft.cfg entry for your U-Land MD-80 to make sure the aircraft used in these plans have the right callsign and parking codes. U-Land Airlines 1998 AI Flightplans

File Description:
U-Land was a short-lived Taiwanese MD-80 operator who had the designation of being the first Low-Cost-Carrier in Asia, while oddly enough being owned by Swiss interests. The airline operated a few domestic routes with high frequency in most cases but fell victim to the Asian Financial crisis of 1997 in addition to running into issues over flight safety and the airline was gone by the year 2000. Royal Air Cambodge 1998 AI Flightplans

File Description:
Royal Air Cambodge was about halfway through it's life in 1998, having started in 1994 and closed in 2001. The airline was flying a pair of 737-400s to several of the major Asian port cities within 2-3 hours flying time, while the 3 ATR-72s did domestic flying and served the nearby Asian nations. Though I can not find record of more than 3 ATRs, but the flight schedule calls for 5 aircraft. There are quite a few flights that were unable to be covered by the 3 ATRs, so I wonder if some were leased at the time, but I am unable to confirm this. The planes are segregated, but again they do represent a decent portion of the flights. Links to the OSP ATR-72 and FAIB 737-400 repaints are included. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. File Description: Ilyushin Il-86 for AI Traffic. This MCX conversion of the FS9 RATS model is only compatible with P3Dv4.5/P3Dv5.2. The models have PBR texturing and numerous other P3Dv4/5 upgrades. This package includes seven models and 52 repaints representing the Il-86 jetliner and Il-87 military variants.
