File Description:
Nordeste from 1995 onwards was a division of VARIG and operated in the same capacity as Rio Sul, but with a separate identity. The carrier operated the Fokker 50, EMB-120, and 737-500 in 1998 all in the old livery. The new 1997 livery didn't become introduced to the Nordeste fleet for 2 years until 1999. Repaints included for the NAAI Fokker 50, AIA EMB-120, and FAIB 737-500. All textures and flightplans by Raphael Rodrigues. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. File Description:
Passaredo is still around today as a Brazilian commuter airline. However, in 1998, the airline also had a pair of A310-300s operating charters across Brazil and into the Caribbean in addition to 3 EMB-120s flying scheduled domestic routes. The A310s frequent both SBGL and SBGR so those are good places to spot them. Repaints by Jonathan Alba for the TFS A310-300 and AIA EMB-120 included. Flightplans by Raphael Rodrigues. File Description:
PLUNA of Uruguay was owned by VARIG, and aircraft were often swapped back and forth or operated in full VARIG colors as needed. By 1998, the 707 had recently left the fleet in favor of a DC-10-30 leased from VARIG and used for multi-stop flights to Madrid. There were 3 variations of the 737; standard, VARIG hybrid, and a special livery. Raphael Rodrigues has painted all 3 and I will be uploading them to Avsim this week. Note that some of the aircraft are scheduled for long ground times in Brazil, likely as maintenance was done there. Textures by Raphael Rodrigues included for the FAIB 737-200. Also note that sources say the DC-10-30 left the fleet in 1998, which would suggest a VARIG DC-10-30 covered these flights. | AeroLyon 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
From 1996-2000, AeroLyon operated a single DC-10-30(with a 2nd being added in 2001) mostly between secondary French cities and the French Caribbean, with the occasional intra-Europe charter. These plans will work for the whole era, but I kept the DC-10 rather busy to ensure that all French cities that saw AeroLyon get used at least once. The aircraft usually makes a stop in France on the way to TNCM/TNCC or TFFF/TFFR then does the same on the way back. The only day the aircraft visits LFPO is Sunday, on the way back from a real charter that took place to LOWW in 1998. Jason King has painted the DC-10 on avsim as: "aim_dc1030_aero_lyon.zip". | CityBird 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
CityBird was founded in late 1996 with the slogan "The Flying Dream" as a Belgian leisure airline with a white MD-11 leased from World and two 767s(one in a white livery and one in the green livery). By 1998, there was also an MD-11 in the full CityBird green colors and 2 in full SABENA titles with Swissair stickers that was operated on behalf of those two carriers to North America and Brazil. The 737s and 2 cargo A300 did not come until the very end of 1999 and are not included in these flightplans. The airline offered 3 classes of service, "Royal Eagle" class(buisness), "Premium Flamingo(premium economy), and "Colibri" class(economy). There was an interesting Just Planes\World Air Routes flight in the cockpit video made about this carrier, if that interests you. Michael Pearson has painted the fleet, the FAIB 767-300 is on Avsim as "faib_767-300_ctb.zip" and the FSPX MD-11 as "fspx_md-11_ctb.zip".
